Excellent property and made for a terrific stay. We actually loved being a little bit removed from the crowds around Bar Harbor, but the drive into Acadia was easy and scenic. The property was so great. Our entire family loved the stay. Highly recommend!

Seaglass was heaven on earth. It was like staying in a page from a magazine that was decorated and luxurious, meeting our every need. What a beautiful home!

If you're looking for a perfect and peaceful place to stay in Maine, Seaglass does not disappoint. 20 minutes from the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National Park, this house offers everything you need for an incredible stay. Alan and Ada are perfect hosts who have thought of everything. If you want a small town experience while still being 50 minutes to Bar Harbor and the main part of Acadia (recommend using the free Island Explorer shuttle system which you can easily access at the Gateway Center in Trenton) Seaglass is an excellent choice. Would definitely book again...and I live in Maine and am familiar with the area.the amenities provided make you feel like you are at an all-inclusive resort!

The house is gorgeous. The views from the house are breathtaking. There were so many small things that made the experience even better than expected, and I am going to try to name a few that impressed me - lots of hangers in the closet, welcome basket with bottle water and treats, kitchen with every possible appliance, laundry detergent, toiletries in bathrooms, great quality towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash and soap in bathrooms, snacks and coffee in bedrooms, lots of games to keep you occupied, bug spray. There are lots of places to sit and relax, desk and comfy chair to use for work and the WiFi worked great. It is a bit of a long drive to bar harbor and Acadia National Park but there are also lots of lovely hikes and good places to eat not far from the house. Great location. Responsive owner. Overall, we had a terrific experience and would rent again if we are ever back in the area.

We had a great stay at this beautiful home. The host was very accommodating and provided excellent service. The home was clean and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We highly recommend this home and area.
