Dean was a responsive and exceptional host in all steps before, during and after our stay. The house felt secluded and that we liked a lot, with deer in the yard. We spent three days at Acadia and this 40 minute drive was fairly easy. We had three adult couples and the primary bath was only used by the couple in that bedroom. Appreciated the Blu Ray collection and fire pit for incredible star gazing.

We loved staying in this beautiful coastal home. The kitchen included very nice appliances and plenty of dishes and cookware. The owner was friendly, responsive, and helpful. Nearby highlights included kayaking in the cove, visiting Acadia National Park, roasting marshmallows by the campfire, and taking a lobster and seal tour in Bar Harbor.

Calm and relaxing

The house was very clean and gave a beautiful view of the water. It was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We heard and watched the birds as the tide came in and out. Our grandchildren enjoyed walking out on the rocks as the tide would go out. We watched a porcupine walked across the yard. We had a fire in the fire pit and looked at the stars.

We had a wonderful stay at this rental property. The location was peaceful and absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature with so many birds to enjoy. Watching the sunrises and sunsets each day was a real highlight. The house was comfortable, well-equipped, and perfect for relaxing. The host was very responsive and made everything easy. Great Location/Terrible Well Water Experience

The house is beautifully set in a great secluded location, right on the water, not too far from Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor. We loved watching the loons on the water and the other waterfowl from the back patio and from the great room. The house is a beautiful house. We did however have trouble with the well water. It was dark and had an odor. However, Dean said it had never been like that before and I am sure he has already taken care of the situation. We were thankful that Dean refunded half our money because of the problem. I would recommend staying here. It really was like living in paradise. We just wished we didn't have the trouble of the well water.

Fabulous Family Vacation

The house was superb. We (my wife, 2 sons, daughter and son-in-law - all adults) loved the private location close enough to Acadia National Park for easy day-trips. Everything was clean and the kitchen well furnished. With 6 adults, we especially appreciated the space in the kitchen (most of our breakfasts and dinners were made at the house). We also can't say enough about our host. Dean responded quickly to questions and communicated well. He went out of his way when my daughter left an earring box behind by mistake. We give Timber Point the highest recommendation!

Couldn't have had a better week - house was in great shape, location is amazing, and owner was very accommodating . We had seven adults and four bedrooms layout was perfect. Also, a previous renter had warned of potential hot water issues with several people showering but we had six showers in one morning and no lack of hot water

Amazing place!

We had a magical week at Timberpoint, something for all. If you just want to chill and relax, no need to leave the property. Kayak, read, fire pit..if you want to hike , bike, fish …all within reach. We did a family charter fishing trip out of nearby Bass Harbor we will never forget. So much fun. Highly recommend this property and hosts!

Couldn't ask for a better stay!

Check in with Dean was a breeze. The house is situated on a a very quiet road. It was clean and very well stocked with enough towels, toiletries and kitchenware for our week stay. The split air conditioning units kept the place comfortable for our stay. I appreciated the ability to make certain areas specific temperatures set to individual preferences. We used the kitchen everyday and it was very spacious for four adults to work in. The large windows on the back side of the house were great for drinking coffee and watching the sky change colors. The barbecue and outdoor dining setup was perfect for family meals outside. The firepit was perfect to roast marshmallows to round out our nights. Check out instructions were clear and simple. I would highly recommend this property!

Relaxing oasis

Had a great time here. It was very relaxing and the view was spectacular. Also saw plenty of wildlife like rabbits squirrels and porcupines and deer.

I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our 14 days at your location. My 5:00 am morning coffee watching the sunrises, the birds flying over the water and the ski changing color by the minute is what I will miss tremendously. Nobody wanted to leave this morning!!! Wonderful Stay at Timber Point

Our short stay at Timber Point was wonderful. Dean, the owner, is quick to respond with answers to our questions. The property is clean, beds comfortable, kitchen and dining area suited our group of 7. Everything was in working order and the views were impressive. We went on walks and the area is quiet with very little traffic. We highly recommend staying at Timber Point.

Take in the natural beauty as you arrive at Timber Point with open views of the beautiful coastline. This secluded home has excellent access to the beauty of Downeast Maine. With a furnished patio and gas grill, cool summer days can be spent barbecuing outside and watching wildlife enjoy their habitat.
Inside, the home offers an open-concept living area with vaulted ceilings and comfortable seating. This 4-bedroom, 2-bath year-round home has water views from every room. Downstairs has 2 bedrooms, living room, a full bath and kitchen. The master has a king bed with on-suite with shower and large tub. Upstairs is an open loft area, two bedrooms and one full bath. One bedroom has a king bed, while the other is setup with a twin bed and a bunkbed with two twins and full bed. It is a great set-up for a multigenerational family.
The large patio off the living room allows for outdoor dining and socializing all while enjoying ever-changing tides. The house is situated at the end of a private road with an additional 1.3-acre undeveloped property next door that includes a private trail to the water for even more views. The neighborhood also has private access to Lamoine Beach just a short walk from the house. Lamoine Beach is great for swimming and beachcombing with views of the Acadia mountains. Lamoine State Park is 1 ½ miles from the house. The park has a public boat launch and dock, picnic area and playground. Ellsworth is just 15 minutes away for shopping and dining. Feel like dining at home? A well-equipped kitchen sits right off the living area. You can whip up your favorite recipes, while enjoying the ocean’s quiet serenity. Enjoy quality time with your loved ones and friends as you dig in.
