Beautifully renovated rustic holiday house DREAM

Holiday house DREAM is a newly renovated and beautifully decorated rustic house. It can accommodate a maximum of six people. There are three bedrooms, four bathrooms, living room with fully equipped kitchen and terrace with barbecue, all spread over four floors! It is located in a small and quiet place near shops and restaurants. The house is ideal for family or a group of friends. This house is fully equipped and has everything needed for a carefree stay.


Milohnici
Milohnici is a place situated in the western part of the island which was built in the 15th century when this part of the island was settled by the residents from the nearby Velebit.

Today there live 86 inhabitants who are mostly engaged in agriculture, fishing, and more recently tourism.

Tourism in Milohnici
Although a small place, it has everything you need to meet the demands of tourists. The sea is only 2 km away and the nearest beaches are mostly pebble and rocky surrounded by greenery.

There are two restaurants that offer excellent local food. Although there is no built hotel accommodation, friendly hosts have private accommodation, apartments and rooms on disposal.

Near Milohnici is Glavotok, where tourists can visit Franciscan monastery and the protected forest reserve but also church of St. Krsevan near Milohnici.
In August, in Milohnici is held folk festival that attracts many visitors from all over the island.

The ferry port Valbiska, which connects the island of Krk with islands of Cres and Rab is 5 km away from Milohnici so, for those who spend vacation here, day trips to neighboring islands are unavoidable.

Milohnici is the ideal place for vacation in a quiet environment.

Beaches

Bujina

The wild bay near Milohnići is called Bujina and can be reached by a gravel path from Milohnić. On the way to the beach you have to walk a few hundred meters through the forest. It's a quiet beach in a sheltered bay with rocks and rough gravel. Because of the distance, in the high season you can still find a nice, shady spot. There are other beautiful beaches and coves within walking distance of this bay. Near the parking lot there is a 12th century church of St. Krševan, which you can visit along the way.

Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back, but with less people:)

The place is located in the charming village, surrounded by nature and calmness. There is a local restaurant right next to the house and a grocery shop nearby (walkable distance). The closest beaches are fantastic, no crowd and plenty of space to have a relaxing day by the sea. The house itself is very well equipped, the common area is big enough to host a proper family gathering. It’s both stylish and comfortable. The owners are super nice and friendly people: always in touch and available upon our requests.

Wirklich ein Traum

Das kleine schmale Häuschen, in dem wir einige sehr entspannte Tage verbringen durften, hat alles, was man sich in einem Ferienhaus nur wünschen kann. Und das in einer unvergesslich schönen Umgebung, die alles bietet, was man braucht. Das Haus selbst hat 4 Etagen, die Haustüre befindet sich in der ersten Etage, hier muss man schon die erste Treppe hinauf und betritt gleich den Essbereich mit Küche. Empfangen wird man von einem luxuriösen Ambiente mit ausreichend Platz, im "Keller", eigentlich im Erdgeschoss, ist das Wohnzimmer und ein Badezimmer mit Waschmaschine und Saunakabine. Wir haben dieses Stockwerk nicht genutzt. Geht man von der Küche aus ein Stockwerk höher, landet man auf einer Etage mit einem Doppelbett, das direkt neben der Treppe steht, quasi in einem offenen Bereich. Es gibt aber noch ein Schlafzimmer mit Türe und einem Badezimmer, das man durch zwei Türen von beiden Schlafplätzen aus betreten kann. Noch eine Etage höher ist ein weiterer, auch offener, Schlafplatz. Auch ein Doppelbett. Auch hier gibt es ein großes Badezimmer. Außerdem befindet sich hier eine Loggia mit Tisch und Stühlen. Einen großen Balkon erreicht man vom Essplatz im ersten Stock aus mit Sitzmöglichkeiten und einem Vorhang zum Beschatten. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt. Wir haben überhaupt nichts vermisst. Von allen nötigen Elektrogeräten über ausreichend viel Geschirr ist alles vorhanden. Was mir noch wichtig zu erwähnen ist, an allen Fenstern gibt es Fliegengitter! Am Tag der Anreise hat uns der sehr, sehr nette Vermieter angerufen und uns alles erklärt. Der Schlüssel befand sich in einem Schlüsselschließfach an der Eingangstür. In dem kleinen Gässchen kann man stehenbleiben und ausladen, aber leider nicht parken. Einen Parkplatz gibt es aber ganz in der Nähe des Hauses im Garten des Vermieters, der vielleicht 50 m entfernt ist. Das Haus befindet sich nicht unmittelbar am Meer, aber in einer Gegend, von der aus man überall hinkommt. Wir haben dank der Empfehlungen von Filip viel entdeckt. Einsame Buchten, tolle Restaurants, schöne Strände.... Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unglaublich unkompliziert, er war jederzeit erreichbar und hat jede Frage schnell und kompetent beantwortet. Wir haben uns nie alleine gefühlt. Wir können von unserem Aufenthalt nur positives berichten. Wir waren von der Insel und ihren Möglichkeiten und dem Häuschen sehr angetan und werden sicher wieder zurückkommen. Vielen Dank Filip für den unvergesslichen Aufenthalt!
