Welcome to La Mesa Retreat — a refined 4-bed, 2-bath coastal escape sleeping up to 8, ideally located near Shoreline Park, Mesa Lane Beach, Lazy Acres, the Harbor, and just 1 mile from downtown Santa Barbara. Enjoy a fire pit, cornhole, outdoor grill, and a Roku smart TV. Pet-friendly (fee included) with a spacious, fully enclosed backyard perfect for relaxing. We kindly ask guests to respect our home and neighborhood by following house guidelines to help ensure a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The silver propane grill is gone now, I replace it with a charcoal weber. Bring your own coals though

Lovely home in an ideal location for exploring all the best Santa Barbara offers! Close to beach, downtown/Funk Zone, great local dining options, and a perfect place to unwind. Michael is great with communication, we are looking forward to a return visit!

Nice property but no a/c. Not enough towels but we discovered there were some in the dryer when we arrived. Appreciated the fans in the rooms.

Pros: location is everything here at this home. Friendly and helpful host. We visited during summer and the property does not have AC and I asked for more working fans to be delivered and the host got them to us, which was of course wonderful! Cons: the house is a bit outdated and drainage smell needs to be addressed from sinks and showers. One bathroom does not have windows so it was hard to ventilate.I think it’s a good for resting your head while spending time in SB!
