Beautiful and calming unit

Enjoyed the place and stay- everything we needed was there and the location, right on the run, was amazing. Perfect for a work retreat as there were multiple desks and work spaces.

Wonderful chalet in great location.

Large 3 bedroom chalet with great ski in/out access to ridge runner chair. Very convenient and comfortable for 3-4 people with large hot tub on balcony to relax apres ski. Hoping to rebook for another ski season.

Amazing ski in and out

Loved our stay. Great place and location. It would have been 5 stars across the board expect the check in process was beyond frustrating. All they gave us was a lock box code, but there was no lock box! The code didn’t work on any doors. We had to call a hot line and stay on the phone for 30 mins for them to figure it out and re-set the code. This was after skiing with the kids so we were all very cold, tired and wanted to unpack. If they figure that out, this place was a 5 star.

Location is great, cleanliness is not! Most of the dishes, pots, pans and kitchen drawers and cupboards were very dirty. There were also cobwebs all over the house including in the kitchen.

Great space, even better location

The ski in-ski out access is as good as it gets! The unit is very spacious, great open concept living space. It was very clean with basic kitchen and bathroom supplies. A private hot tub is must for us, and this unit has one off the main living space! The only downside was that the hot tub needed servicing. We called Vacasa, who was easy to get in touch with and helped us troubleshoot as much as they could and then they sent someone the next morning to further assist. The hot tub continued to error on/off over the weekend, but worked enough for us to enjoy it! We’d suggest thorough maintenance on the hot tub to ensure others get to continue to enjoy the hot tub. Otherwise, it was a great weekend!

Thank you for your review, Melissa. We are so glad you had a good weekend! Our hot tub tech visits the unit on guest arrival days and takes care of the hot tub every 2-3 days during each reservation. On their most recent inspection, everything was working great. The owner will be in the home for an extended period and will keep a close eye on the hot tub during this time to ensure everything is in proper working order. We hope to see you again!

Best location!

Spacious house on the Serwa's run- step out the door onto the ski run- how can it get any better? Well, maybe a soak in your private hot tub- you got that, too. Could use TLC especially in kitchen and other areas need deep cleaning as well. Cannot beat the location; we will be back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a number of problems with the Chalet. The gas supply was very weak which made the fireplace a very sad affair. Trying to cook on the Gas stove was also very difficult (it took 30 minutes to pan fry a steak !) The hot tub needed some love as well as the lid was perishing and was absorbing water vapour so when it froze was becoming very heavy and hard to open. There was no boot room or kit drying facilities instead there was a bench and a box with slots for 3 sets of ski's. Normally I wouldn't point this out but I have to compare what was charged in comparison to other units I've stayed at over the last 6 years, where, for the price, we've had sauna's, steam showers, dedicated boot rooms with boot and glove dryers and roaring fireplaces and all the things you dream of. However let me say that RENTCHALETS did a great job of trying to rectify the situation and in the end gave a sizeable discount for the problems we experienced .. so definitely work with RENTCHALETS again ... just wouldn't be renting this property again.

Home away from Home

We found the Rental Company to be professional and accommodating. The property was clean although we felt the Duvets could have done with a wash. We liked the location although it was a bit harrowing driving up the hill to the unit. The furniture could do with a revamp, both couches had been torn at the rear and I am sure something could be done re the tv channel selection and description of programs was non existent.

Perfect location! Great chalet!

Seventh time at Big White, fourth time staying at Silver Tip- the best location on the mountain if you want privacy and great access to the slopes. The only difficulty we had was with the kitchen. We do all our own cooking. Hard to imagine a chalet without salt, pepper or sugar! A good supply of those as well as a spice rack and moderate supply of oils and vinegars would be standard. As well please check out the gas range and the pots. It took 20 minutes to boil hot water and we couldn't get a sear with the frying pan ( even on scallops). Would love a cast iron frying pan. Plastic glasses for the hot tub too! An inventory of kitchen supplies would be handy! We definitely will return!

Silver Tip is Wonderful

We have visited Big White 8 of the last 10 years, and this is our third stay at Silver Tip 06.Wonderful chalet with the best ski access on the mountain. Great for a small family.
