Floridia is a small town in the province of Syracuse on the east coast of Sicily. It was founded in 1628 and is characterized by a typical Mediterranean landscape. The sandy beach of Fontane Bianche and the beautiful rocky coast can be reached by car in about 15 minutes.

Activities nearby: The unique city of Syracuse is just a short drive from your vacation home. Even in ancient times, it was considered very powerful and was once the cultural center of the Greeks. Even today, there are many testimonies of the long history of this special city, especially on the 40-hectare island of Ortygia, the heart of the old town, for which you should plan a day. A trip to the nature reserve of Vendicari, about 40 kilometers away, a mix of lagoons, sand dunes, rocky coasts and sandy beaches, is also recommended. Here you can discover a variety of flora and fauna. You can also visit the baroque town of Noto, which was almost completely destroyed by an earthquake in the 17th century and then completely rebuilt.
