About this property

The Loon Call: Gorgeous Lakefront Family Cottage

The Loon Call is a fabulous, sustainable family cottage nestled in a hidden lakeside forest. Direct waterfront access to pristine Lac Toote in a private cul-de-sac. Flat lot set back from the water & gradual entry is safer for children. Organic, fragrance-free & eco-friendly living. One loft bedroom & one downstairs bedroom, full kitchen & hot shower, solar-powered fridge & lights, bbq, canoe, paddleboards & more. West-facing for panoramic sunset views. Only 1.15 hours from Ottawa! Book now!!!

Welcome to the best in off-grid living! The Loon Call is a beautiful family-friendly lakefront cottage that offers comfort & connection within nature. This is a space for those willing to unplug from it all (but still have a hot shower!). Think old school board games, toasting marshmallows, moonlit swims & stargazing without a hydro pole in sight.

Designed with your wellness in mind, we use only the best. All of our sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers & towels are 100% pure certified organic cotton. Our toilet paper & facial tissues are tree-free made with bamboo. And all of our cleaning products are natural, biodegradable, hypoallergenic & fragrance free.

Not to mention our delicious premium organic teas & coffee! We support our local health food store immensely.

Take a break from our supercharged modern world to experience a real & meaningful getaway.

We invite you to make some beautiful family memories here, as we have.

Highlights include:
- Sandy waterfront
- Huge stone deck with picnic table & shade canopy
- Outdoor fire pit with log seating
- Huge sliding door windows facing the lake
- Tons of parking space

Your booking includes full access to the entire cottage, private grounds & waterfront. Very secluded as it is set back from the lake & the few surrounding neighbours are only visible from the water.

We offer you complete privacy, although should the need arise, we can be onsite within the hour! We are always available for questions through the app or the phone number provided in the Welcome Booklet (there is cell phone reception).

The only off-grid maintenance required on your part is refilling the water tank. Rather than harvesting from our beautiful lake, our running water is clean water from a sandpoint well. We have a small tank to ensure the water does not stagnate & so we don't have to use harmful bleaches & disinfectants. All you have to do is plug in & fill when empty!
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.
