The Space:

Sitting on Okaloosa Island, Blu 400 is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom retreat that is beautifully decorated with touches of elegance throughout. Upon entering, the views will immediately guide you to the main living area. The kitchen is spacious and offers everything you'll need to cook meals or prep for a large gathering. The stainless-steel appliances, seemingly endless, sparkling counters, and sleek cabinets will draw you in, and the large island gives even more space, as well as barstool seating. The dining area seats six to eight guests, and the living area has plenty of seating for everyone with a large sectional centered around a wall-mounted flat-screen television.



The balcony can be accessed from the living area and has plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the Gulf sunrises and sunsets. Also accessible from the balcony is the main bedroom. With a king-size bed and ensuite bath, and breathtaking views of the water, you'll never want to leave. The bathroom features a double vanity, separate tub and shower with a seat, with gleaming finishes on each. Two of the guest bedrooms offer queen-size beds. The additional guest bedroom houses a bunk bed with twins, giving this home away from home enough bedding to sleep eight comfortably. The two guest bathrooms round off a stunning unit, where nothing is left to be desired. Each thoughtfully decorated room, in-unit laundry, and breathtaking views are sure to make Blu 400 your next choice for a Northwest Florida vacation rental. On property at Blu, unwind in the jetted spa, enjoy a family barbecue at the gulf-front grilling area with gas grills, or get your workout in at the state-of-the-art fitness center.



Each reservation includes one umbrella and two chairs Mar 1 - Oct 31. Paddle boards, kayaks, and bicycles are available for an additional charge.

Unit was clean when we arrived. Property right on the beach with direct access to beach. Renters receive a complementary beach umbrella and two chairs on the beach for their unit. Our kids and grandkids loved the two pools and the hot tub.

Wonderful Fall Break

Our family's first time to Okaloosa Island. We loved the location and the condo was beautiful. Very comfortable and roomy for our group of five -- teenagers all had their own rooms. The building was also awesome, parking perfect and the pools were great. We will book again!

Beautiful & clean

Blu 400 was beautiful, clean and very well stocked. The pool and beach were great(especially with the included umbrella and 2 chairs) and we loved the covered parking space. We would definitely book another stay at Blu 400.

Blu 400 Thanksgiving

An excellent property. Wonderful amenities and conveniently located. However, note that the 4th bedroom is a small windowless room with a fold out couch. Given that, I would recommend this property. It’s a well done, new condo complex.

A beautiful place

Property is beautiful, and the condo is spacious and relaxing! A very nice place. Check in was difficult, but the maintenance guy at the property was wonderful. It would be helpful to have more than one trash bag and cleaner for more than one dishwasher load, but the management ending up bringing us some more. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Beautiful condo/location

The condo pictures do not lie. It is a beautiful condominium. Very spacious. While somewhat set back, the balcony has a very good view of the gulf and this may be a bonus for those wanting a bit more privacy. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything from crab/lobster crackers to a blender.

Roomy with a great location

We had a great time at this Blu condo. We had enough room to have our own space and the kitchen/dining/ living area was big enough to accommodate all of us. We cooked every meal and the kitchen had everything we needed. The property was nice, not very crowded & everyone we met was nice. It was family friendly & the beach was simply lovely. The only problem we had was that the gate code and codes to the amenities were not accurate, but we were able to communicate with Vacasa and get the correct ones. It was a great property and we would definitely stay here again!

Great Labor Day Weekend

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Blu. The condo was plenty of room for 3 families with small children. The pools are awesome. Great beach service and plenty of room on the beach to not be on top of others. Our tent and one chair did get stolen over night, but can’t blame the property for that due to us leaving it under the stairs on the beach. Just a bummer!! Blu definitley ranks at the top of our list on places to stay in Ft Walton/Destin. We come down at least twice a year. We will always try to book here from now on !

Very clean, newer unit, great pools and access to the beach.

We spent a week here with 8 adults total. Very nice facility and very clean everywhere. Great beach access. Rooms were nice. Bunk bed room was pretty small and the fitted sheets were too small for the bed and kept popping off. One room had a king frame but a queen mattress and one of our group bag her leg pretty bad causing a bruise from the overhang of the frame. Tv's. Were difficult to turn on and one has the HDMI cord disconnected. Newer appliances, gas stove and the place was very clean.

First timer

This was our first time to Ft. Walton beach. Beach was nice, room was nice too. But, grills were near pool area and kinda dirty. Fira alarm went off 3 times. No drinks within 4 feet of pool, everyone checking in at same time left no carts for most folks. Not enough chairs and umbrellas by pool. Nice place, but, too pricey for what you get, thanks

Long family weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the Blu 400, for a long weekend getaway in March. Blu was approximately at 50% capacity. First the Pros: 1-the condo is beautiful. Kitchen is huge with new appliances, living area very spacious, master bedroom mattress was so comfortable, guest rooms were nice as well. Condo has plenty of bath towels (but bring your own beach towels). The condo has three bedrooms, and one small room with a pull out sofa. Washer and dryer in the condo are full sized. The entire unit was extremely clean, and decorated beautifully. 2- Gym was well equipped and very nice. 3- Reserved parking spot in the garage is right next to the stairwell. 4- Pool restrooms were always very clean. 5- On-site maintenance staff were very polite and attentive. 6- check in was very easy. Property management company called the day prior to the trip, when we arrived to make sure all was good. Cons: 1-the unit is on the end- side of the building, with a slightly obscured view of the ocean and beach, not full view. The unit/balcony cannot be seen in photo of the building in the listing. 2- there was construction going on outside, which impacted one of the bedrooms. Construction work began at 8 AM in the morning, which was right in front of the bedroom facing the parking lot. The parking lot also had a sinkhole, that impacted flow to/from the parking garage. It would have been nice to be forewarned about this construction work. 3- The beach service is only for two chairs and one umbrella, despite this unit being a three-bedroom unit. We were charged extra for an additional beach chair and umbrella. (* the beach chair attendant, young lady, was VERY friendly and attentive). 4- Blu Is located right next to a public beach access. By 12 PM, many people started setting up around our reserved beach chairs, blocking access and views of the ocean. 5- there is a funky odor coming from the water heater after hot showers or running laundry. 6- condo surprisingly does not have a full length mirror. 7/ only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. You will want to pack some extra.
