This elegant home is located directly lakefront in the desirable Big Creek portion of Norris Lake Rental. Cove Creek Wild Life Area and Norris Dam And State Park are a close boat or car drive away.

Dawson Creek will provide an incredible vacation experience. The views offered by this home are incredible. There are countless ways to relax and have fun.
Norris lake is a fantastic place for fishing (striped bass over 50 lbs), lounging in deep water coves and many water-sport options. The dock offers plenty of room for sunbathing, a newly added slide and electric. Dawson Creek has a beautiful gourmet kitchen, high speed internet, free domestic long distance, cable and high end furnishings. Outdoor security cameras for your protection and peace of mind. Keyless locks on front and lakeside of home, no keys to lose or forget. For your safety get a code that is good only during your stay. No worries of someone else using your code.
Main Floor,
The main floor offers a Gourmet kitchen equiped with high quality appliances, a spacious dining area, a luxurious family room with a flat panel HD TV smart television and DVD player. There is a surround sound system with whole home audio and iPod hookup. In addition the home features a luxurious master bedroom with king size tempurpedic bed for a great nights sleep. The master bath has a beautiful walk in shower and separate deep bath tub to soak after a long day of water sports. There is another full bathroom and bedroom with a queen size bed. There is a large laundry room/utility just off the two car garage. In addition there is a large beautiful deck, partially covered, to relax and just enjoy the beauty that Norris Lake offers.

Upper Level

The upper level is a great space for the kids. There are four twin beds and a double.

Lower level

The lower level has a second family room with a flat panel television and a blue ray player with smart tv. There are also two more bedrooms with queen beds and lake views. Each bedroom has a full bathroom and great closet space. There is pool table and access to a lower patio area. There is easy access (no stairs) to the lake. Hot tub, sitting area and fire pit.

Dock

The dock is a large two level dock with two covered boat slips and room to tie off two more boats or multiple jet skis. There is a slide from the upper level that kids and adults will both enjoy. There is plenty of room to lounge on both the upper and lower levels.

Close

Approximately ten minutes by boat to Sequoia marina and Whitman Hollow Marina (great place for soft serve ice cream). Also close to a public boat launch.

Beautiful home & view of Norris

Stacy (the owner) was AMAZING. She was prompt on responses to any questions we had before and during our stay.This property has everything and more!! The house was fully stocked and then some. Kitchen had everything we needed as we like to cook and grill for our big family. The bedrooms and living areas are very spacious.Our adult children loved the hot tub in the evenings after spending the whole day in the water. Some days we played right at the dock. With the slide and sun deck above the boat docks the kids had a blast!I really can’t enough about Stacy and this property, it is was perfect!! Thanks so much, we will be back!!!

Amazing Property!

This property was amazing & has everything you could want/need! The house and bedroom set up was perfect & the dock was the best part. The big creek area is close to all the parts of the lake that we like to visit and was a quiet and peaceful location. Our only wish was that check-out was an hour later due to needing to get boats out of the water on check-out day but it was doable! We will definitely be back.

This home exceeded our expectations! The home was easy to locate, a short drive to the store and located on a great spot on the lake! The kids enjoyed the dock slide and jumping ledge. The home is very spacious and it has everything you need for a relaxing stay on the water! We had 14 in our party and never felt crowded including around the dinner table. The home owner was very responsive before, during and after our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. We would recommend this home to any family wishing to stay at Norris!

Spectacular

This property is first class in every way. The home is very elegant, with beautiful finishes throughout. The kitchen is high-end with new stainless appliances, granite counters, plenty of prep space and the table will easily seat 10 (possibly 12) people with 3 more seats at the bar. Views from the house are spectacular and large deck off the back is the trex-type so very comfortable and has plenty of seating for morning coffee or after dinner conversation. The master suite is incredible and 3 other queen or king rooms have bathrooms attached or nearby. The loft above the garage (5 beds for 6 people) is nice but got a little warm and those occupants must share the bathroom with the 1 downstairs. There is only a tv in the master bedroom which wasn't a issue for us but might be for some. The tv in the main family room was a little tricky to operate. The trek to the dock is challenging even though paved part of the way. It's very steep, but with the help of a rented golf cart, my 70+ year old parents were able to navigate with some help walking on the stepping stones and concrete steps at the bottom. The dock is phenomenal and possibly the nicest one we saw on the lake. Plenty of room for our boat, a rented pontoon, and our 2 Jet skis. The kids enjoyed the slide, and the electric outlet for their music. There is a large area on the bottom for all your "toys" and sunning, and a huge upper deck with several lounge chairs. The lake speaks for itself. I've never seen a cleaner, more beautiful lake. Overall, a wonderful vacation spot.

Norris Perfection

The care and love that the owners have for their home is evident everywhere. It was our first trip to Norris, and the perfect place for us to be! The house and kitchen are unbelievably well stocked and beautiful inside, with comfortable beds and stunning views. Our group was grandparents, parents and grandkids, and we all had plenty of room and things to do. The slide was a huge hit! I have nothing but praise for Dawson's Creek, top to bottom.

Wonderful vacation

this is our second time to stay at Dawson's Creek. We certainly hope to stay again. The host is quick to respond to questions and suggestions for any issues. The house is beautiful and well equipped. Plenty of room and all of us enjoyed the dock, lake and swimming. It's a beautiful area and close to a Walmart for shopping if you need anything.

Absolutely Amazing!!!

This place was perfect, owners checked in multiple times, had only a couple very minor issues which were fixed immediately. Space was clean, dock was outstanding and with 14 adults, we didn’t even use all of the space!!! Have never seen a better stocked kitchen (2 crock pots, air fryer, coffee make and Keuring, blenders, sharp knives, etc.). We hope they will rent to us again next year as this group has found their annual location! They only suggestion would be more chairs on the dock, there we two, but they were in rough shape and it is so pretty, we wished we could have enjoyed the upper level more, although plenty of space for dancing and the hammock chairs were perfect on the lower level! Making our beds upon arrival was not ideal, yet could have been due to Covid & an ice maker would have been nice, very minor suggestions. 2 fridges were an extra bonus and well utilized, beds were comfortable and having individual baths was nice, we didn’t even enter the game room, but it looked to be perfect for the entire family. Fire pit was a great additional as was the hot tub after a long day on the water and we did not find the incline to be as treacherous as we have experienced at other locations. Overall, it was fabulous, had everything we needed and we will absolutely be back if the owners accept us. Oh yes, and the location was perfect, we have friends who have a home right around the corner, was super easy to buzz back and forth with a jet ski or boat regardless of the time of day/night. Yet another added bonus! Simply cannot go wrong choosing this place - 10/10!!

We were impressed from the moment we walked in. Very well equipped for our group of 14 ranging from 4 months to 63. Tastefully decorated, well maintained, and extremely clean. Beautiful outdoor setting. We felt immediately at home. The kids loved their third floor "retreat" just for them, and there was plenty of sleeping space to keep our multi-family group comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. The owners really thought of all the details in making their lake home a pleasant place to stay. We hope to be able to go back again. Fantastic Stay

We had a wonderful week and made great family memories in this fantastic house! The house had plenty of room to spread out and full of nice upscale amenities. The kids loved having the room above the garage for their own little escape. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed - even an air fryer and milk frother! The deck overlooked the lake and was equipped with a nice table and two huge grills. We enjoyed a couple of nights around the large fire pit and relaxed in the outdoor hot tub. The dock was such a nice asset to the home! We enjoyed jumping off the top of the deck and sliding down the slide. Communication with the owners was fantastic. Rob was concerned that we were comfortable and gave great recommendations. We would recommend this home to a group or family without hesitation!

Lifetime of memories!

Absolutely stunning home. Photos don’t do justice, such an amazing, well furnished home. Everything you could possibly need in the dream kitchen. The location was perfect, just at the edge of a no wake, great for swimming yet 30 seconds from open water for wakeboarding, tubing, skiing etc. 20 minutes from Walmart, 10 minutes from boat launch, multiple marinas within 15 minutes (by water). Interaction with homeowners was excellent, easily available and showed genuine interest in assuring our family had an excellent trip. I feel this is undoubtedly the best value on the lake. You will not be disappointed.

My New Favorite

This is my new favorite summer rental. It is in a prime location on Norris Lake. Our family has been spending our summers here for more than 20+ years and enjoy this side of the lake best. It is not nearly as busy as it can get when you are near the Deerfield area. The closest marinas are Whitman Hollow and Sequoyah Marina which by boat is maybe 10 minutes or less and they both have good food and fuel. The home was beautiful and easily accommodated our friends & family. The kitchen was well stocked with all that you may need to grill, crock pot, cook on stove or bake. The kitchen table is absolutely beautiful and fit our entire group. The laundry room was spacious and they provided plenty of towels in all the baths. You have access to two refrigerators and that helps with all the food/drink that multi families may bring to share. The owners are very helpful and quick to respond to answer questions. We had a minor issue with a breaker but the house manager came and took care of it quickly. The dock is one of the best on the lake. We brought 3 boats and 3 wave runners and were able to tie each of them up easily. The kids loved the party top with the slide and gate to allow for jumping since the lake is so deep. On the weekends when the lake is busier, there are waves that roll in towards the dock but for those lake people, you know that is something you have to deal with on occasion. We wish there were motion lights with timers or a switch so we could turn the dock lights on/off during the evenings for when we came in after a boat ride or just spending time on the top at night for safety purposes. The walk from the dock to the house gives your legs a workout and may be challenging for older guests. I would recommend renting a golf cart for those situations. The neighborhood is great - there are many that are out walking in the mornings with their beloved pets and are friendly to the guests. This home will be at the top of our list for our next lake retreat!! Thank you for sharing Dawson's Creek with our friends & family!

Dawson's Creek is a beautiful lake front home with a great dock and is the perfect place for a family vacation. The location is ideal, close to Jacksboro and close to several marinas. Dream Lake Family Vacation

House easily accommodated 6 adults and 8 kids. Everyone had a blast on the dock. Every person jumped off the dock and rode the slide. We rented a pontoon and tube from Whitman Hollow Marina. You must boat on this gorgeous lake. The water is so clear and warm. We are already planning on returning to Norris Lake next summer. Only problem we had was the walk down to the dock from the home. Actually, its the walk up that is difficult. But this is typical of almost every house on Norris Lake. It is just the way the land is. Overall, this house was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean and comfy for 14-15 people. You'll love it at Dawson's Creek. All the kids said, "No more beach vacations, we love the lake!" And the adults agree too.

Best House on the Lake

Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The owners are very organized and so easy to work with. The house is spotless. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the kitchen has everything you need to make wonderful meals. They even have a spare fridge in the garage so there is plenty of room for all your food and drinks for the week. The driveway is HUGE and was perfect for our trailer and cars. The dock blew us away and my kids loved jumping off the top level and sliding down the slide. The hot tube was also a great way to end each day. We have only ever rented in Deerfield but we are so glad we tried something new. Big Creek is our new favorite and we hope to rent this home every year.

A Slice Of Heaven

WOW! My family stayed at "Dawson's Creek" over Labor Day week. Our visit really was perfect in every way. The home was very clean, updated, quiet, comfortable and attractive. It has a lovely deck with gorgeous views of the lake where we spent our mornings drinking coffee. The kitchen is well-equipped. Beds were beyond comfortable. We are so grateful to the owners for allowing us to stay at their lovely property! I had a couple questions about the area and the owner was prompt in their replies and super helpful on making suggestions for dining and family-fun activities. We will treasure this vacation forever. Did I mention the water slide rocked? We will never be able to repay the owners for sharing this amazing home with us. We will forever be grateful.

My family discovered Norris lake just a few years before we purchased this home. Like many others, after our first trip to Norris lake we were hooked. We visited for a few years and decided that having our own place to visit and share with others was something we had to have.

Why they chose this property

My wife and I looked at so many houses before purchasing this one. Many things about this house stood out above others. First is its location. The Big Creek area is much less crowded than many areas on Norris (particularly the Deerfield area where there are many more rentals). In addition it is so much closer to the interstate than many of the Lafollette rentals which equals less driving and more playing. The driveway is nice and flat and there is a two car garage.

What makes this property unique

Tankless hot water heater so the whole group can get a hot shower or bath. Whole house generator so electricity is never lost. Smart TV. High speed internet. Verizon Cellular booster for better cell service for those that have Verizon as their carrier. Convenient to stores, restaurants and marinas. Truly a home that I could live in, not your typical rental property. Hot tub for all weather enjoyment. We continue to make this awesome home even better for your enjoyment.
