Specializing in long weekends, the house accommodated up to 4 adults/children, and your furry family members, too! Just a 10 minute walk to the Bay and 15 minute drive to Wildwood or West Cape May, The Mermaid offers a perfect central location to enjoy all the charm and fun these destinations offer. The house is located in a peaceful residential area, and offers a more relaxed quaint setting. There are some wonderful local attractions, dining and the beautiful sunsets on the Delaware Bay! Bring your own sheets, pillowcases and towels, everything else needed for a comfortable stay is provided. Other amenities include large fenced yard, wraparound deck, 4 Cape May beach tags, beach chairs and loungers, Starbucks coffee,fast wifi, 12:00 pm check-in time and more!

I am a PA girl who always enjoyed getaways to the Jersey Shore! After discovering the bay area fifteen years ago, we have come back every season! We purchased the Mermaid house in 2019, and it's been my pleasure hosting since then!

Why they chose this property

This is a quiet peaceful neighborhood, only a 10 minute walk to the bay, and 4 blocks to Fleck's ice cream, voted best in Cape May county! It's a great location for a peaceful stay, yet only 15 minutes drive to the hubs of West Cape May and Wildwood.

What makes this property unique

If you enjoy privacy, comfort, and a quiet neighborhood, but also want to be close to the beach and excellent restaurants, Wildwood boardwalk and wineries, the Mermaid is for you! We also have a fully fenced yard, so if you like bringing the pups with you, we are happy to accommodate them, also!
