This is our second time staying at this rental and both times it was extremely clean and has everything you need. I especially like watching the birds come in every night…it is quite an amazing show to see!!! The neighborhood is very quiet, but close to everything such as shopping and restaurants.

The accommodations were as advertised and quite pleasant. The home was spotless, organized, and had a well outfitted kitchen. The pool was a pleasure and serviced weekly. Communication was great and I’d stay again. I particularly enjoyed watching the ibis and herons use the trees in the back as their evening sleep area!

This is an amazing property. It is very well kept and very clean. It was easy to contact both the owner and the property manager. Both of them were very friendly and helpful. So Relaxing!

This home is clean and comfortable! We especially loved the outdoor space behind the house. The patio is covered so we could eat outside even when it rained. The lanai and pool are beautiful! Very relaxing watching the wildlife at the back of the property! The neighborhood is far enough off the main streets to be quiet, but close enough to be convenient for the places we wanted to go. We would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful relaxation

While the neighborhood is nominal, the unit is very nice. We booked for the pool and backyard which was like a private hideaway. The kitchen is extremely well equipped but the furniture in the living area is minimal. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood but there are no sidewalks and O'Hara is a pretty busy street. Still, the owners are wonderful to work with and we had a great stay for our 5 weeks.

Weihnachten 2025Nachdem wir im Dezember 2024 für 14 Tage unseren Urlaub in diesem wunderbaren Ferienhaus verbringen durften haben wir uns sehr schnell dazu entschieden, auch unseren Urlaub über die Weihnachtszeit 2025 dort zu buchen. Diesmal waren wir 3 Wochen an diesem phantastischen Ort.Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, die Betten sehr bequem und die Küchenausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Spülmaschine, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Waschmaschine, Trockner etc.: alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Das Haus wurde von seinen Besitzern liebevoll und mit viel Charme im Florida-Style eingerichtet. Das Highlight ist der grandiose Poolbereich, der mit einem Käfig (Cage) gesichert ist. Der Pool ist beheizt, so dass er auch während der etwas „kälteren“ Jahreszeit genutzt werden kann. Was wir auch täglich getan haben. Jeden Morgen haben wir dort auf der Terrasse gefrühstückt und den Ausblick auf den kleinen Ausläufer des Sees und den angrenzenden „Dschungel“ genossen. Täglich hatten wir Besuch von Schildkröten, Graureihern, Eichhörnchen…Nur der Alligator, den wir letztes Jahr bei seinem Sonnenbad im seichten Wasser beobachten konnten, haben wir dieses Jahr nicht gesehen. Schade!Wir werden auf alle Fälle wiederkommen!!!

Wohnen in der Natur

Wer die Natur und Tiere liebt kommt hier auf jeden Fall auf seine Kosten. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt in dem Haus. Aber das Beste waren die Besitzer die ebenfalls in unserer Zeit einige Straßen weiter Urlaub gemacht haben. Sie standen uns immer wenn wir Fragen hat mit tollen Tips zur verfügung. Wunderschöner Weihnachtsurlaub 2024

Das war unser erster Urlaub in Florida und ganz bestimmt nicht unser letzter! Die Unterkunft hat alle unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Lage war für uns absolut perfekt. Ruhig gelegen an einem kleinen See. Wir haben es genossen, die Tierwelt am Seeufer vom überdachten Poolbereich aus zu beobachten. Viele Vögel und viele Schildkröten haben uns besucht. Aber auch einen Alligator konnten wir im seichten Wasser des Sees beobachten. Leider kam er nicht ans Ufer! Wir haben viele Ausflüge durch die Umgebung gemacht (Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Venice und auch die Everglades). Es war etwas schwierig einen nicht gesperrten Strandabschnitt zu finden, da aufgrund des Hurrikans noch viele Bereiche nicht zugänglich sind. Aber in Venice sind wir fündig geworden. Der Strand war sauber und die Parkplätze (direkt am Strand) kostenlos. Dies war bestimmt einer unserer schönsten Urlaube bisher! Gerne kommen wir wieder in diese Unterkunft. Wir haben auch schon in den Buchungskalender geschaut. Aber leider ist die Weihnachtszeit 2025 schon belegt!

The house was very nice. It was just as described and was very clean, close to shopping and restaurants, but tucked back in a quiet neighborhood. We are building a new house a few streets over so we are very partial to the area. The brand new pool was great!!! There was a little glitch with the internet after a bad storm, but the property manager Petra was great. She was very helpful and easy to reach and was able to contact Xfinity to solve the problem. We would definitely stay here again.
