About the property

Secluded Riverfront Retreat in Stevens Pass

Green renovated chalet on the Skykomish River. Woods Creek Chalet is nestled on 2 acres with spectacular river and mountain views. Just a 25-minute drive to Stevens Pass ski area with serene hiking destinations, fishing, horse back riding, and river rafting nearby.

Our 2 bedroom, 1 bath chalet is perfect for 4-6 people. The master suite loft has a queen bed, sitting area with futon, stuffed chair/ottoman, and private balcony. The main floor bedroom has a queen bed.

The fully-equipped kitchen and dining area has all the conveniences that a chef could ask for; new stainless energy efficient appliances, gas stove, espresso machine, dishwasher, recycled glass and concrete countertops, breakfast bar, dining table and heated slate floors.

The comfortable living room is complete with two sofas, bio-fuel fireplace, and an artistic river rock and log wall with a 50' plasma TV. There are plenty of board games, puzzles, books, DVDs, everything for poker night, and a stereo for your iPod. Play bocce ball and entertain outside on a spacious deck with the gas grill. You can also relax in the 5 person hot tub.

Best of all we are pet friendly!

Because we consider this place an escape to get away from it all, there is no WiFi or cable TV.

Woods Creek Chalet is meticulously maintained and professionally cleaned.

Guestbook comments from the owner

This cabin was great. Lots of property on a beautiful part of the Skykomish River. A few friends of mine and I got together for a night of poker and catching up, followed by a little hiking the next day. It was hard to leave the cabin that morning because the view from the porch was so nice! The cabin is beautiful on the inside with all the amenities you'll ever need. I'd recommend this place to anyone who asked.

Peaceful and relaxing in a secluded cozy cabin

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was the BEST weekend we've had in a while. The cabin is so cute and well taken care of. We really liked being unplugged for the weekend. Cell phone service inside is nonexistent. If you need to text, you can step outside for that, but why would you want to?!

There's a little trail going from the yard down to the river where we would take the dog to play. She loved it! And the front yard was plenty big enough to play a game of fetch.

Inside the cabin it was so cozy. Upstairs is all one room with a bed and a futon. There is even a telescope for looking out at the stars on the upstairs patio! Downstairs is another bedroom, the kitchen, living room, bathroom, and dining room. The fireplace is in a little table in the living room and keeps you very warm.

There are plenty of dvd's and games for entertainment. We even came across some cds. If you're up for an adventure, there is a list provided of all the places to hike and explore in the area. I wish we had more time to really take advantage of all the are had to offer.

The house comes equipped with everything you might need but don't remember to bring, including dishes, toilet paper, towels, paper towels, and batteries and flashlights. There was even an espresso machine as well as a coffee pot.

Overall we really enjoyed our time. We will most definitely be back!

Fabulous escape

  • 5 of 5

We loved our time at this little cabin in the woods. The owner was so easy to communicate with and left clear instructions. We really appreciated her positive energy and welcome. The house is more than comfortable and cute with plenty of functional amenities, located on an excellent little secluded spot on the river. The hot tub is heavenly and the DVD selection cannot be beat. This was the perfect place surrounded by mountains and a stunning river to detach for the weekend. We plan to visit again soon!

Wonderful Private Experience

  • 5 of 5

My family enjoyed a wonderful extended weekend here. Will definitely be a recommendation to friends and family looking to stay in the area!

It was very private and had all the creature comforts you would expect. The heated floor in the kitchen was a great bonus! Hope to be back soon.

Absolutely beautiful

  • 5 of 5

the cabin is cozy inside, and has an open landscape outside. You have room to play in the yard, go down to the river or just hang out and play games on the large deck. It gives you a chance to get away from everything and makes you never want to leave. Perfect cabin for a family getaway or romantic weekend.
