We absolutely loved staying here, the house was perfect for our 2 families. Spacious! It's was great having a pool to relax in after going to the beach. Definitely recommend this beautiful house.

Wonderful family vacation. House was within short walking distance to the beach, had plenty space for our group of 11 people, loved having bikes included.

This was a family trip for us. Our son and daughter and their spouses plus another son and my wife’s sister. The sleeping accommodations were perfect with multiple beds left over. The pool was larger than most this close to the gulf. The private beach was fantastic and not crowded at all in our section. The beach setups worked perfectly for us. The location between Alys Beach and Rosemary make it a very easy walk to both. We will certainly look for Sandy Shores on future trips.

Great House!

The home is in a beautiful neighborhood with great beach access. The house itself was clean, family friendly and provided great entertainment options. I would highly recommend this property for a family!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location is definitely the best part of this property. It's on the beach side and just a short walk to the beach, which made it very convenient.That said, the home itself is starting to show its age. There are quite a few scuff marks and markings on the interior walls, and the exterior appears to be deteriorating in several areas. The property would really benefit from some general maintenance and cosmetic updates to make it feel more cared for and better appointed.The home met our needs, but with a little attention to maintenance and refreshing, it could be an outstanding rental given its excellent location.

Perfect Spot

We loved the house! Had everything we needed and more. The best part is the private beach and chair set up. Everyone had a wonderful time with plenty of space!

Perfect house for groups or families!

The house was better than expected. Short walk to a private beach with chairs set up for you. Easy walk into Alys or Rosemary. Great for groups or families!

The house is wonderful and a great location. Our disappointments were the pool was dirty and we had trouble with the thermostat not staying at the set temperature. Maintenance came once with no improvement. We called a second time and they didn’t come.

Thank you for taking the time to review As Good as it Gets. We regret that the pool was a bit dirty from all the storms. The pool is cleaned twice a week and it has been tough to keep up with the weather recently. We are so thankful you reached out about the thermostats, there was a setting in the new thermostat software that needed to be adjusted. We were able to fix the setting and make all units hold at 68 degrees for the remainder of your stay so we did not send anyone back out. We did monitor it throughout and it seemed to be working properly for the remainder of your stay. Thank you so much for bringing these matters to our attention! - 30A Luxury Vacations

Location of this house is perfect! Just a short walk from restaurants and shops at both Alys and Rosemary beach. House has a well stocked kitchen for cooking and food prep, bedrooms were spacious and bathrooms also nice. With a group of 11 ladies, we never had an issue with hot water but would have benefitted from more mirrors around the house for getting ready. Beach access was so convenient and the pool was very enjoyable! Would absolutely stay here again.

As Good As it Gets

Exceeded our expectations. Beautiful modern clean well stocked house with plenty of room for 12 of us. Perfect pool. Access to private beach area was lovely.The area is beautiful, quiet and very safe.

Great Rental

We really enjoyed our stay in this rental. The check in process was very simple, and the place was nice and clean. We had 3 family and the rooms and bathrooms are all a nice size and it was very comfortable. We typically like to stay on the beach, but this was as good as it gets not being right on the beach. The beach walk was very close, and the chair setup was so convenient.

Lives up to its name!

We had the best time and felt the name of the house was spot on! Great location and house was spacious, clean, and we really enjoyed the pool! The beach set up was awesome and we loved using the bikes provided to explore the gorgeous area. Heads up on the alarm on the door that goes out to the pool. It was really loud and annoying but I understand it’s purpose. We would definitely book it again!

This was our second time staying at this property. However I would not stay here again. The home is very run down and in need of paint both inside and outside. The furniture and rugs felt dirty even though I know it was cleaned and vacuumed. The location is great but the home has not been maintained.

Clean and courteous

Overall, a positive experience. The house was clean; the check-in and out process seamless. The internet, however, was exceptionally spotty. As, unfortunately, my husband and I both worked for a significant part of the trip, this was frustrating. But I would still highly recommend the property.

Great, peaceful getaway

Overall, the stay was amazing. The place was spotless and perfect for 4 couples all celebrating anniversaries. The convenience of having bikes at the property and chairs set up each day was perfect for us, coming from out-of-state. Having a code to e get the community, the property, and the beach area was so much better than having a key. Any small “hiccups” we had (ice maker, trouble navigating cable networks, and dirty pool) were addressed and either handled or noted. The beach was beautiful, and access to shopping was easy. After each hot day, it was nice to come back to a house with a great a/c unit. Having fans in each room was a definite plus. We left with great memories, and we will definitely return!

Christmas 2022….

We had such a great time staying at the house. There were 9 of us and it had plenty of space. The extra fridge in the kitchen was a little weird…looked like it came from the owner’s garage but we used it well. Location is perfect. Walk to the beach was easy. Only strange thing that happened this week was when another renter on the street crashed their SUV through the front gate…destroying it. Apparently there was either a famous person or politician with private security staying in a house at the end of street. Not sure how or why they crashed through the gate but would have been good to have a security officer in vehicle parked up front because with no operating gate had random people driving through the street.
