It is a charming rural hamlet built on the site of a Camaldolese monastery, on the borders of the Camaldolese Forest National Park, Monte Falterona and Campigna. Consisting of four charming cottages, lovingly and carefully restored in full respect of its origins, it opens up in a dominant position, with an evocative view over the Casentino valley right in front of the castle of Romena.
Outside there is an area for exclusive use with sun umbrella, table, chairs and bbq.
Swimming pool (open from 1 June to 30 September) to be shared with the other guests of the agriturismo (2 houses for 2 people, and 2 houses for 4 people)

The territory

This marvellous, easily accessible property is set in an oasis of peace and tranquillity, just one km from the village of Pratovecchio, and is an ideal base for visiting famous castles such as Romena, Poppi, Porciano and the Palagio Fiorentino, as well as important spiritual centres such as the Monastery and Hermitage of Camaldoli and the Sanctuary of La Verna. The property is surrounded by an Italian-style garden and set in a park with a forest, vineyard and fruit trees. The perfect setting for a stay in a cool, relaxing atmosphere. Swimming pool The farmhouse has a swimming pool (8 x 14 m) with all comforts and is available from 01/06 to 30/9. It is in a sunny position from which you can enjoy one of the most suggestive views of the Casentino valley. In addition, the facility offers its guests a children's play area with a swing and slide,
When you return, you can use the barbecues outside to prepare excellent grills. Wine production Our Pinot Noir is the wine we would recommend to lovers of tradition and to those who want to discover the complexity of this fine and elegant wine. Passion, commitment, feeling and tradition are the words of origin that our company puts into practice when producing wine. Production that has been travelling on the tracks of quality since 1930, when the Vezzosi family realised that on the sunny hill of Poppiera they could find the right place, in terms of soil and microclimate, to cultivate vines according to oenological and Tuscan techniques.
