Had to pay extra for hydro and water
Had to pay for the usage of utilities almost 2 weeks after my stay. The payment had to be done via some sketchy third party website and I eventually just had to send them an international wire transfer and lose more money on the transfer fee. After I sent it they never sent me any confirmation email to say they received it. I am probably on some collections agency list now and I’m also out MORE than I should be. The fact that they sent me an email weeks after my stay threatening to send me to a collections agency unless I paid 88 euros on some website I never heard of was an awful feeling. It truly ruined my experience and I won’t be using this company again. It’s like a hotel trying to charge you for the water and electricity use during your stay 2 weeks after you left and asking you to send it to them via PayPal.. it’s absolutely ridiculous and really unprofessional. I didn’t use VRBO so I could pay you on some sketchy website. All payments should be done on this app, if I had known I would have to follow up with an international wire transfer for a substantial amount of Canadian dollars to cover my water and electricity use I would have never booked with this company.
