About the property

Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Welcome to your Beautiful two-bedroom condo located just 175 yards to the Mountain House Base lifts and fresh champagne powder. If you prefer, a shuttle bus outside your door can take you to the River Run Base Area. Enjoy skiing/boarding during the day and/or night and come home to soak in two soothing hot tubs looking out to the slopes that you just conquered. And if you haven’t had enough, grab your skis/board and walk right back to the lifts for the only night skiing available in Summit County.

After your dip in the hot tub, come inside and cozy up to a warm fire and fantastic full view of the mountain outside your sliding glass doors to the grand deck. If you plan to stay in for dinner you can utilize the New full kitchen or grill some steaks outside on the grill on the deck. Walk out to your spacious deck that overlooks the Snake River and the protected wetlands with beaver ponds. Enjoy eating dinner on the full dining room table while still admiring the slopes outside. After your action-packed day curl up on the comfy bed and dream of your next exploratory day.

Keep your car parked; there are several fine restaurants within walking or shuttle distance. If you want to take a day off from skiing, you can do some shopping in the River Run village or take an 8 minute ride to the Silverthorne Factory Stores.

If after a couple days you want to try some other mountains, you are 6 minutes from Arapahoe-Basin; 20 minutes from Breckenridge, Copper and Loveland; and 40 minutes from Vail or Beaver Creek.

Your condo has 2 bedrooms (1 king and 2 full and a twin), each with its own spacious bathroom. The condo has its own washer and dryer. The full kitchen comes loaded for all of you chefs out there. The living room (with sleeper sofa) and dining area allow you to relax while experiencing a breathtaking view of the mountain side and slopes.

If you’re not a cold weather person, there are oodles of outdoor activities to take in during the summer. For bikers, runners or walkers the summit county bike path is steps away and will take you all the way through Summit County. For anglers you can wake up, take your coffee with you steps away to the river or beaver ponds for some fishing. If you are a golfer, experience the amazing Keystone Ranch Golf course just minutes away.

There are a lot of condos in Summit County but you'll not find a more immaculate one than this one. Our hosts Kevin & Rachel provided all the little details like toiletry kits, local maps, books, and games. You will also not find one with closer parking. The parking area is steps away from the front but cleverly shielded by the outside ski/bike lockers, another nice feature. No need to haul your skis or bikes through the unit to a locker on the deck like at many other locations. The view from the deck is wonderful; the wetlands, just steps away and the ski slopes just a couple hundred yards away. There are hiking and biking trails all over the area that for the ambitious can take them clear to the beautiful Dillon Resevoir and beyond. While Summit County is hardly a secret with four of the world's premier ski areas, many visitors are finding that it has become a four-season resort area. There are many year-around attractions and it offers a welcome relief from the heat at lower elevations! My friends and I heartily recommend this condo for it's great location and varied activities and amenities. Signed, VRBO Bear

Great Place

  • 5 of 5

Unit was clean and well maintained. I was happy to find some limited items in pantry(salt, coffee, spices, sugar) to get us through until we were able to get to the market in Dillon.

The nearest lift was close enough to walk, and the View of the slopes was nice.

Kevin the owner was easy to get a hold of and provided all of the information necessary well ahead of time to make sure we were able to find the unit and get in.

It was an easy walk to River Run and other local restaurants and the free shuttles were great to get us as far as Breckenridge whenever we wanted. Since we decided to not rent a vehicle for our vacation, the shuttles got us around and an Uber ride to town ran us about $15.00. I would definitely recommend this rental and its owners for a great, no problem vacation.

Great location, comfortable condo

  • 4 of 5

Within 10 minutes walking distance from Mountain House, a bit longer to River Run, the location of the condo was perfect for downhill skiers. Nice hot tub for evening relaxing. Interiors a little dated & worn, but more than adequate for a family. Nice balcony & fireplace, and owner is super-responsive. Would definitely be interested in returning!

Keystone Mountain getaway

  • 5 of 5

Spent the month of July in this wonderful condo. This unit is fully equipped and extremely comfortable. The owner was very responsive to a small problem that was handled that same day. If you want a mountain getaway, with wonderful views and a quiet surrounding, you need to book this unit.

Great place !!!

  • 5 of 5

My family recently stayed at this condo, it was clean and convenient to the slopes, restaurants, ski rental, etc. The condo was very comfortable and was stocked with all the essentials for those that want to cook at home. Kevin and Rachel were easy to work with during the rental process and were so kind as to leave a bottle of wine for us to enjoy during our stay. Would definitely recommend this place. My kids took lessons at the Mountain House Ski School and had a great experience with Brooke Andrews as the instructor. The shuttle picked out right outside the front door, very convenient!!!

Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

This condo is in a great location, close to everything you could want. The awesome views from the deck look right out to the slopes. The lifts are a 5 minute walk, or if you prefer the shuttle, the shuttle stops 20 steps from the front door. The condo is stocked with all the essentials needed for someone like myself that enjoys cooking. I will definitely be going back next season!!

Great place - I highly recommend

  • 5 of 5

I snowboard Keystone almost exclusively and this place is located in the perfect spot. Clean, convenient, easy to get to, and easy to access Mountain House and River Run. Just park your car after you arrive, all you need is within walking distance (even for little kids). The condo is a stones throw from the Mountain House base area that, incidentally, has a ski school and a rental shop. Also very close to great bars and restaurants.

Great views, great location, great place - makes for a great condo for a trip with your college buddies or the family!
