We stayed in this apartment in the Plymouth building for our recent trip to Chicago. The building itself has a nice lounge on the first floor with a pool table and darts, and a roof lounge and outdoor deck that were really wonderful. The location was excellent, within walking distance of Millennium Park and very close to both the red and blue line CTA stops, so using public transportation was so convenient. Getting in and out of the building was also very easy. Check-out was really simple and stress-free. We would stay here again.I did have a few minor issues with this place. Be aware that the wall does not go all the way up to the ceiling on one of the bedrooms. I didn't notice this when I booked but now that I look back it is visible in the photos. This means that sound travels very easily between that room and the living room, so there is a lack of privacy. The other very minor thing to keep in mind is that this is like a hotel room but without a front desk. So it has a sterile quality to it and lacks comforts like spices, condiments, a blanket for lounging in the living room, for instance. It isn't cozy.Lastly, the booking goes through a management company. This means that check-in/check-out communications aren't through VRBO but through an email that they sent me when I booked. I completely forgot this when we got there and was messaging the host for info. So do remember you'll have to keep track of this booking through your email and not really through VRBO.
