We love hosting because this bungalow and this neighborhood have given us so much — good neighbors, a slower pace, a real sense of community — and sharing that with guests feels like the natural next step. When you stay with us, you're not just booking a house; you're getting a family who genuinely wants your trip to be great.

Plaza Midwood won us over immediately. It has that rare combination of historic charm and real energy — walkable streets lined with bungalows and craftsman homes, independently owned restaurants and bars, a farmers market, coffee shops with actual personality, and neighbors who know each other by name. It feels like a real neighborhood, not a development. We've lived here since 2019 and still find new things to love about it. It's the kind of place you come for a weekend and start looking at real estate by Sunday.

This is a genuine historic bungalow — the kind of home that has character baked into its bones. We didn't just decorate it; we restored it. We brought in craftsmen for the big work, and got our own hands dirty too — I personally sanded and refinished the floors and restored original details like the door knobs. Every corner of this house has been touched with intention. And like any home with history, you'll notice the gentle marks of time — the small imperfections that remind you this place has a story, and that no amount of renovation should erase that. It feels like a home because it is one, and we've cared for it that way. You're also steps from the best of Plaza Midwood, so you get the quiet of a residential street with all the energy of the neighborhood just around the corner.
