Do you particularly enjoy the Vulkaneifel region and are you still looking for a lovely place to stay where you can feel right at home? Then why not take a look at our newly furnished vacation rental for up to 6 people? This modern, ground-floor apartment, measuring approximately 110 square meters, features a spacious living room with a cozy seating area. From there, you can enjoy a lovely movie night with a view of the fireplace. The dining area is surrounded by large floor-to-ceiling windows, so the living room is bathed in beautiful natural light during the day. The kitchen, which opens directly onto the living area, is perfect for cooking together. With the induction-compatible cooktop and the view outside, cooking is so much more fun. The three bedrooms are located off a long hallway. Two of the three bedrooms each have a double bed (1.80 m), while the third bedroom is furnished with two 90-cm beds that can be pushed together if desired. The smaller bathroom has a shower, toilet, and sink. The large, spacious bathroom includes a shower with a bathtub, two sinks, and a toilet. The large garden, with its tiled patio and expansive lawn, offers plenty of space for playing and relaxing. You can really enjoy yourself here in the summer—and in the winter, too.
There are many beautiful biking and hiking trails accessible from the vacation rental, which can be started right from the house or after a short drive. The Lieserpfad and the Eifelsteig are lovely hiking trails that lead through the nearby forest. The 58-km-long Maare-Mosel Bike Trail also offers a paved cycling route through beautiful countryside. The trail runs from Daun to Bernkastel-Kues, though you can certainly start partway along the route. The Moselle, known for its wine taverns and vineyards, is just a 30-minute drive away—passing through the vineyards—to the towns of Bernkastel-Kues and Cochem. And of course, the Manderscheid castles—Manderscheid’s iconic landmarks—are not to be missed. A hiking trail also winds its way past the Lower and Upper Castles, and the walk can be rounded off with coffee and cake at the cozy castle café at the Lower Castle. The small town center invites you to stroll and daydream. With several cafés and restaurants, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy yourself. On hot summer days, the outdoor pool—just a 3-minute walk away—is within walking distance and offers a refreshing way to cool off. However, if you want to experience that authentic Eifel feeling, head to one of the four swimmable maars for a wonderful day of swimming.
If you’d like to vacation here in the beautiful Vulkaneifel with a larger group of up to 12 people, and you like our ground-floor apartment so much that you don’t want to be too far from the rest of the group, we can also recommend our other vacation rental. The attic apartment is just as stylishly furnished, designed for 6 people, and located in the same building. Feel free to take a look at our EifelBleibe 1.
