In the harbour, you will find several catering establishments, bike and boat hire and even a local beer brewery. Bring your own boat or rent a sloop to discover the surroundings. In the immediate vicinity, you will find an outdoor swimming pool, Huis van Hilde (House of Hilde) about the archaeology of the area, various forts and mills and also the cosy centre of Uitgeest is worth a visit. The park is easily accessible via the motorway and Schiphol Airport is close by. Uitgeest is also located between the cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam. So plenty of opportunities for a wonderful stay with day trips!
