WaveSong: Mountainside Villa with Ocean views & Pool

WaveSong is a beautiful Spanish style villa near the surf towns of Dominical and Uvita in Costa Rica. It has vaulted wooden interiors and breathtaking ocean and nature vistas. The interior is nice and open with massive veranda doors, meant to integrate with the outdoor deck space.

This classic ocean front villa has 5 bedrooms each with a private full bath - master has custom built tub w/ shower. Bedrooms equipped with individually controlled AC w/remote. 2 kings and 3 queens. 3 bedrooms have expansive ocean views and double doors leading to large covered porches. 1 bedroom has direct pool access and views thru double doors. Master bedroom has a separate covered porch facing the trees where the monkeys like to roam, as well as double doors to the large porch. The ocean sight and sounds are truly majestic. Enjoy the wide variety of animals, plants and flowering shrubs.

The large kitchen is well stocked for any cooking needs. You will not find a better view from your kitchen sink! Includes pass through window to pool area.

Swimming pool has steps for entry, a pass thru window to kitchen, and a grill area for full enjoyment. 5 pool loungers and other chairs. Pool also has ocean views.

10 rocking chairs on the 2 levels of covered porches which extend the full length of the house facing the ocean. Enjoy monkeys, toucans, aracari birds, parakeets, hawks, even whales depending on the season, right from the porch.

2 levels of living areas, smart tv in main living, lots of dvds, all new living and dining furnishings as of 2023. 12 feet of sliding doors to porches on both levels for wonderful indoor/outdoor living.

The home is located on its own private plot of land that gives uninterrupted views down the mountainside to the ocean. There are several beaches and attractions within easy driving distance. 4WD is required as the home is located on an unpaved road that is pretty steep.

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Don’t forget to LOGOUT OF THE TV. Our housekeeper does not know how to do it for you.
Bag up all trash and put it in the outside trash can under the exterior stairs.
Must be checked out by 10am departure day. Shut gate behind you.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Guest must sign rental agreement.

Our family has a passion for traveling and experiencing life to the fullest. We love providing opportunities for others to do the same through our short term rentals. We have vacation rentals in the US in CO and MO, but this is our first one in Costa Rica. We hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

**We require a signed rental agreement as part of the booking process.**

The entire house is yours, accessed via private gate.

Separate apartment next door also rents and has king bed, bath, small kitchen and incredible views. This may be rented by others or can be added to main house rental. If rented separately, pool use is not allowed to apartment renters - kept private for main house.

Juan, the local handyman, comes by twice a week to maintain the pool and vegetation around the house.

There is not anyone else on site. We are available 24/7 and can be reached via message or text if something comes up. However, if something requires in-person attention, that can take some time to arrange.

POWER OUTAGES: It is not uncommon in this area to lose power. Usually it is for a very few minutes, but, very rarely, it can be longer. Candles and battery powered lights are available if needed. The internet should automatically reboot once power is restored.

4WD or AWD is required. The road up to house from main road is steep gravel, labeled 4wd only just before the drive to house. To be comfortable anywhere we go in Costa Rica we always rent AWD or 4WD.

ADDITIONAL GUESTS: All guests must be included in your reservation. Pricing does vary depending on group size. Day guests are not allowed without written permission.

SECURITY CAMERAS: There are two security cameras on property. One near the front door of big house and the other near the stairs of the apartment. They will be on.
