Our cosy, beautifully and tastefully furnished holiday home (semi-detached house) is located on the outskirts of the health resort town of Freyung in the new "Goldener Steig" development —at the gateway to the national park—with a view of the town of Freyung—in the tri-border region with the Czech Republic and Austria. It’s ideal for a relaxing holiday in a well-maintained and welcoming atmosphere. Friendliness, warmth, and hospitality—that’s exactly what you’d expect from a holiday in the Bavarian Forest. On our terrace, you can leave your daily routine behind and recharge your batteries. It’s important to us that our guests feel at home from the very first day and can disconnect from the worries of everyday life. Our holiday home, with its unobstructed views, is located in a quiet yet central setting. From here, you can set out directly on many hikes and other activities. Shopping options (Lidl, chemist, bakery) and a bus stop are within walking distance. It’s just a 5-minute drive to the centre of Freyung. Dog owners can enjoy nature with their four-legged friends right from the front door or garden gate, taking long walks through meadows, forests, and fields. Numerous, well-marked hiking trails begin in the immediate vicinity. Our holiday home, featuring a small, fenced-in garden and a beautiful covered terrace, is for your exclusive use and offers - approx. 210 square metres of living space in a split-level design (staggered living levels) - Pets allowed - Cot available upon request Ground Floor: Entryway with coat rack, separate bathroom, fully equipped built-in kitchen with a dining area that seats up to 9 people Lower Level: Cosy living room with a pellet stove and access to the covered terrace with lounge furniture, a garden grill (charcoal provided), and a small, fully fenced-in garden with a heated hot tub and swimming pool Level 1: 1 single bedroom with a large box-spring bed and a balcony; 1 double bedroom with a double box-spring bed and a balcony; Level 2: 1 double bedroom with a double box-spring bed (Cot available upon request) 1 bathroom with sink, bathtub, shower, and toilet Living Level 3: 1 twin room with two separate box-spring beds Living Level 4: 1 double room with a double box-spring bed Living Level -2: 1 wellness room with infrared cabin, shower, and sink; boiler room; laundry and drying room (storage for skis and winter clothing); carport and parking space for additional vehicles. The prices and bank details listed in the booking confirmation apply. A 25% deposit is due within 14 days of booking; the balance is due 2 weeks before arrival. Check-in is available between 3:00 PM and 1:00 AM. Check-out is possible between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Key pickup: door code. The numeric code for the front door will be provided via email a few days before arrival. Tourist tax: EUR 3.00 per person/night; children 5 and under are free; children ages 6–16: EUR 1.50. Pets are allowed for an additional charge of EUR 5.00 per pet/night.
