Not a place for children
We did not stay 1 night at the "Suite on the beach". We left the apartment the same night.
One thing is that the apartment is very worn out, but it is not a place to bring children.
There are cameras everywhere and steel bars to protect every entrance. When we came to the apartment at night, there were dogs Barking everywhere. It does not feel safe in the area.
We know that the area is residential, but it also seems to be a bad neighbourhood. It smells of cannabis in the elevators and there is trash lying everywhere. The whole area seems worn down.
The caretaker is very nice and very helpful, but I think you need to know that he is living in a room next to one of the bedrooms, only separated by a thin sliding door. Our son could hear him talking on the phone and could hear his TV. That is probably a bit to familiar.
Outdoor pools are not heated and looks nothing like the pictures. It is very worn down, but at least you have them for yourself as none else seems to be willing to use them.
The are no smoke detectors in the apartment, and you would have to pass 2 locked steelbar doors to get out. You must use a key for both doors – different keys by the way.
We made our final decision to leave when we had to start evicting cockroaches from the kitchen.
There are cameras in every room and you have no idea who is watching. The solution from the caretaker was to try and block them with tape.
