Situated in a peaceful neighborhood within easy reach of ocean and bayside beaches, you'll be able to leave the car parked and immerse yourself in seaside serenity while discovering the cape by foot or bicycle. For days at home, fire up the gas grill and enjoy a coastal cookout with friends and family, complete with yard games and deck lounging. Dine on the breezy screened porch and gather around the wood-burning firepit on the patio for evening conversation and S'mores. This three-bedroom cottage comes well-appointed with all the comforts of home. Enjoy casual downtime and family movie nights in the living room, furnished with comfortable seating, a flatscreen TV, and fireplace for cozy get-togethers. The full kitchen comes ready for home-cooking with a full suite of major appliances, plenty of counter space, and utensils. Indoor dining options include a breakfast bar for two and dining area set for six. Two bedrooms and a shared, full bathroom are located on the first floor. The primary bedroom occupies the second floor and includes an en suite bathroom. WHAT’S NEARBY Explore the local beaches and hiking trails or check out some stops along the Cape Cod Rail Trail, a 25-mile paved bike path spanning from South Dennis to Wellfleet. The trail can be picked up across Route 6 on the way to Nauset Light Beach. During your stay, be sure to visit the Wellfleet Drive-In for a classic movie-going experience and you're sure to find some interesting trinkets at the Flea Market. THINGS TO KNOW Beach gear and yard games are provided in the basement for guest use.

Great location and well appointed

We really enjoyed our stay here; the house was well stocked and furnished with everything we needed, and was a great central location for beaches, restaurants, hiking, and other activities.

This is an older home but was very clean and comfortable. Loved the location, screened in porch and outdoor shower. The description of air conditioning is a little misleading. There are window AC units in the bedroom but the living area only has a large ceiling fan, no air conditioning. It was not very hot during our stay (high 70s) but if the temperature was up into the high 80s/low 90s, the living area would definitely be uncomfortable. The “walk to beach” statement is a real stretch because it’s at least a mile away and you would have to walk on a busy main street (Massasoit) with narrow shoulders to get there. I would never attempt that walk with small children. What was most upsetting to us was that we were unable to watch the World Cup semifinal game because there were 3 remotes and no written instructions. The VueStay support staff, who are very nice, was unable to give us the proper instructions to operate the TV until the next day. To be fair, had it not been the World Cup, not being able to watch TV until the next day would have been a minor issue. But the complete lack of any instructions from the owners was very disturbing. Despite those inconveniences we found this house to be quite pleasant and a great value. We’ve been going to the cape for over 30 years but this year it was a last minute decision and this house served us very well. I would definitely recommend this house just as long as you know what to expect regarding the AC and “walk to beach” caveats

Loved this house. We (family of 6) have been coming to Eastham for 15 years and renting various houses. This location was excellent for us. Easy bike to bay and ocean. We had a small issue and the Vacasa staff responded right away. We hope to rent this house again next year.

The house was clean and neat with plenty of room. Everything you needed was available. We loved the area, close to beaches and shopping. I would definitely rent this place again. Loved being able to take my dog. Fun time.

Great location and property

This was our first trip to Cape Cod and found Eastham to be a perfect location. We were close to the National Seashore beaches and plenty of good restaurants. The house was great for a family of four with two teenagers that each had their own room. The screened in porch was lovely for drinking coffee and enjoying the morning. The house has partial AC with units in the bedroom so it was comfortable for sleeping. The main living space did get warm on the days where the temperatures were in the upper 80s.

Cozy quaint home

Quaint cozy home in prime location. Everything you need is in the home which is great. All you really need to bring is your toothbrush. The house definitely has curb appeal. There are games to play inside the home and no issues with Wi-Fi. The bedroom decor is a little dated but in pretty good condition. The living area is very comfortable. Definitely enough space so that everybody has their downtime. I can’t really think of anything negative about the home - overall it was very comfortable and cozy. No issues with anything. Everything was working fine. I would definitely stay here again.

Peace and quiet in a perfect location

The screened in porch was our favorite spot in this lovely home. We enjoyed meals listening to birds sing while feeling the cool breeze. You can walk to bayside Cook’s Brook beach (0.7 of a mile) and drive 8 minutes to Coast Guard and Nauset Light beach. The neighborhood is lush, green with gorgeous trees and a short walk to Hole-in-One bakery. This cottage is clean, comfortable and comes with everything you need to enjoy time on the beach. The outdoor Symmons shower has fantastic water pressure and a foot wash - nothing better after a day at the beach. If you’re seeking comfort and convenience look no further - it’s as tranquil as the name implies!

Misleading

The house was advertised as having air conditioning. There were air conditioners not installed in the closets. When we called Vacasa they didn’t help at all. They recommended that we install the air conditioners ourselves.

Few Issues

Mostly was a great property - One issue was a fan that would not shut off (resolved)... Second was the Light over the Dining Table did not work. This was an issue and detracted from our stay. We wanted to use this space to play some games and really could not due to the fact that there was not enough light....
