Private and Spacious
Private and spacious. Beautiful views from dock. Loved the screened porch.
This cabin was the perfect weekend spot for my family - close to town but totally private. My kids enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the cove. The only "hiccup" was a 30 min delay in our checkin due to housekeeping still working. It was not too much of a problem.

Weeklong Stay
Last year we stayed here, this year we rented it for our extended family. It's cozy and has the charm of a cabin with plenty of modern amenities. We spent all week in the living room playing games and puzzles at night, and during the day took advantage of the nice horseshoe stone beach. This house has good views too and is close to town. There's also a good front porch where we sat and listened to the lake. Perfect to escape our busy lives.
We stayed a week with our three daughters, dog and boat and loved this camp! We’ve been going to Moosehead a few years now and this was the perfect camp for us! The camp itself was so clean and well stocked. Our only complaint would be the grounds around the camp need a good cleaning. Dead shrubs EVERYWHERE, broken plastic lawn chairs and other debris litter the yard.

Loved it
Hands down the best place we have ever stayed, close to town and the house is great. The views are amazing, just sit at morning watching sunrise and then bite for sunset and star gazing. We will be back to this gem. The house was big and we had 6 adults with plenty of room for all of us, we spent most of the indoor time on screen porch, also if people have small children the cove is perfect for swimming as the break wall creates a great sallow end.

Great time at Breakwater Lodge
My daughter and I came to Maine for a wedding and vacation. It rained almost the entire time we were there, but we still had a great time. Sitting on the back porch in a comfy chair with a good book, watching the changes in the lake was absolute heaven. Cabin was spotless and just lovely. It had everything we needed, including a family of deer that came for a photo op. We would definitely recommend the cabin for anyone who is looking for a lovely place to stay while in Maine. Thank you for helping make a vacation memorable.
Great place to have plenty of room. Loved the huge screened in porch. We were very close to the water with our own litle cove .the ducks were fun to watch! Close to town but felt remote.New mattresses would be nice. The grounds also need a good grooming and debris cleanup. Had a great week at this camp. Even had a dishwasher! Crockpot would be nice as well as frying pan that don't stick on.

Breakwater lodge
Was very relaxing, loved the cove. Only complaints are only 1 working tv and was in livingroom. Tvs in bedrooms dont work. Fake cable lines hooked to out dated tvs. But was relaxing watching the squirrels, ducks, loons on the cove
The lodge was well maintained and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with eating and cooking utensils. The driveway is narrow with low hanging tree limbs making it a challenge to navigate without using caution and off limits for our Motorhome. We had to park elsewhere. The property description stated “ room for 4 cars”. We found the mattresses unrestful and the furniture padding worn down making for uncomfortable sleeping and relaxation.
