Welcome to our vacation rental, “Waldrausch” 3. It’s located right in the heart of the beautiful Baiersbronn-Mitteltal valley.
The town of Baiersbronn, located in the Black Forest National Park, is the largest tourist destination in Baden-Württemberg. Over 80 percent of the area is forested, which is where the slogan “Nowhere else offers more Black Forest!” comes from. With its nine districts, Baiersbronn stretches over 20 km in the upper Murg Valley between the Schliffkopf and Ruhestein on the Black Forest High Road all the way to Schönmünzach on the Baden-Swabian border.

Behind Baiersbronn’s “hiking paradise” lies a network of hiking trails spanning over 550 kilometers, featuring multi-stage routes, award-winning leisure trails, and educational nature trails that pass by idyllic rest stops, remarkable viewpoints, and natural attractions such as the Black Forest National Park.

Those who want to explore Baiersbronn on two wheels will find 11 varied tours totaling 400 kilometers, with up to 30 percent singletrack, suitable for families, beginners, and experienced mountain bikers.

Families with children will also find plenty to enjoy at the Murgels Playhouse, the Baiersbronn Children’s Vacation Program, one of five outdoor swimming pools, or Hauff’s Fairy Tale Museum.

And for anyone interested in history, a visit to the Glashütte Buhlbach Cultural Park is well worth it—a journey back in time to a world of wood and glass from over 250 years ago.

An annual highlight with plenty of excitement is the Baiersbronn Classic—the Black Forest Rally for connoisseurs—which takes place every year on the last weekend in September to commemorate the 1946 Ruhestein Hill Climb, Germany’s first automobile race after World War II.

By the way, many attractions and recreational activities in Baiersbronn and the national park region are free for vacationers: with the Schwarzwald Plus Guest Card, you can enjoy over 80 Black Forest experiences at no cost. The card is available for stays of two nights or more at selected accommodations in Baiersbronn and the National Park region—also free of charge.

The vacation rental is centrally located, and everything is within walking distance (bakery, supermarket, information center, restaurants, swimming pool, sports field, bus stop, playgrounds).
