Cozy cabin in a quiet location. The lakeside sauna has a hydro massage bath possible for the period 1.4.-31.10 (includes in price 22.4.2025 for new reservations), sauna and hydro massage bath with a wonderful view of the lake.

17 km to the west from Iisalmi, lake Haapajärvi 25 m, shallow mud beach, pier, own rowing boat. Log cabin (2012), well-equipped kitchen, heat reserving fireplace in the living room, bedroom (double bed), WC, washroom, sauna (electric sauna stove). Upstairs, an open space with spring mattresses 160x200 cm and 80x200 cm on the floor and sofa bed (120x200 cm bed for one).

Summer kitchen with garden furniture, kettle grill and gas-heated grill pan. Separate lakeside sauna (dressing room and sauna room with wood burning sauna stove), hydro massage bath in front of the sauna building, Note hydro massage bath for the period 1.4.-31.10, note the hydro massage bath is not available during the winter months.

There is an outdoor toilet on the side of the cabin.

Enttäuschung

Der Zustand des Ferienhauses war für uns nicht akzeptabel. Wir hatten den Eindruck dass der Eigentümer das Haus gerade verlassen hat und gleich wieder kommt. Alle Räume waren verschmutzt und sämtliche Schränke waren vollgestopft mit Wäsche und anderen Dingen des täglichen Lebens. Wir hätten die ganze Zeit quasi aus dem Koffer leben müssen. Selbst im Kühlschrank und Gefrierschrank waren noch Lebensmittel. Nach Reklamation wurde als Entschädigung eine Übernachtung im Hotel zugesagt und das Haus sollte bis zum nächsten Tag gereinigt werden was aber nicht zum gewünschten Erfolg führte. Wir entschieden uns dann die Buchung zu stornieren und haben eine andere Unterkunft gewählt. Die Stornierung wurde vom Veranstalter nicht akzeptiert. Im Nachhinein wurde uns knapp die Hälfte der Mietkosten erstattet aber damit war für den Veranstalter alles abgegolten, auch die zugesagten Übernachtungskosten für das Hotel. Wir sind seit Jahrzehnten begeisterte Skandinavienurlauber und kennen die Standards der Ferienhäuser aber so etwas haben wir noch nicht erlebt.
