Welcome to The Lazy Buffalo — a new mountain chalet just minutes from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and The Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Enjoy year-round fun from the 2 covered decks, complete with a Hot Tub and Sauna. Inside, this 1,350 sq ft retreat sleeps 6 with dual king suites, and a pull out sofa. Thoughtfully designed for comfort and connection, it’s the perfect base camp for adventure and relaxation!

 Recharge in the two spacious King bedrooms, each complete with plush bedding, a smart TV, cozy reading nook, blackout shades, and a ceiling fan for extra comfort. The ensuite bathroom offers total privacy, as well as easy access from the main living space.



Downstairs features a pull out sofa — great for kids, teens, or extra guests. Traveling with a little one?
We’ve got you covered with a Pack ’n Play — just bring your own sheets.

The Lazy Buffalo is located in Sky Harbor in Sevierville, just a quick drive from major nearby attractions.



Pigeon Forge: About 5–7 miles, roughly 10–15 minutes depending on traffic .



Gatlinburg & The Great Smoky Mountains National Park: Easily reached via the Parkway and wrapping back in—typically 10–20 minutes.



The route to The Lazy Buffalo is straightforward, with all main roads paved, well maintained, and without steep grades. We do suggest arriving during daylight or dusk — especially on your first visit — for better visibility and peace of mind.



Other Things to Note:

For your safety, please do not leave trash unattended outside (including inside your car). Please refrain from feeding bears & wildlife that call the local area home.

Snow and ice are rare but possible, and typically don’t last long or stick. In those conditions, 4-wheel drive is recommended.



Once you arrive, you’ll enjoy the quiet surrounding, and a comfortable mountain stay — close to everything, but just far enough for a bit of privacy.
