This semi-detached house is located in the village of Perrich, which is part of Wesel-Ginderich, but sits halfway between Wesel and the Roman town of Xanten. Situated on the Rhine and along the Sports Pilgrimage Trail—which winds around Ginderich, the oldest pilgrimage site on the Lower Rhine—it offers the perfect setting for bike tours. The house is suitable for 2 or even 3 small families, but not for bowling clubs or similar groups. The Bislicher-Insel nature reserve, with its abundance of water, is particularly beautiful. You can also reach the towns of Xanten or Wesel by walking along the dike. There’s plenty to see and do in Xanten, including the APX (Xanten Archaeological Park). <br><br>In the summer, there are many lakes perfect for cooling off. These are also supervised by the DLRG. Shopping options, such as a supermarket and a bakery with a café, are just a 10-minute bike ride away. A water playground is within walking distance (300 m) and is sure to delight our younger guests.<br>The vacation home features a large, spacious garden where pets are also welcome by arrangement. The garden is fully fenced and includes a lovely, spacious patio and a large garden shed.<br>The first floor features a large kitchen, the living room, and a guest restroom.<br>The first floor houses the bathroom and two bedrooms (each theoretically accommodating three people). <br>In the attic, there is another bedroom with space for 3 people. From here, you can see the Rhine dike.<br><br>There is plenty of storage space in every room.<br><br>Places to visit:<br>In addition to the destinations automatically listed under “Location,” there are a variety of other places you can reach by bike or car.<br>Beyond the rich history of beautiful Xanten, there is plenty to experience there for young and old alike. Above all, a variety of water sports and cultural activities provide plenty of variety. Even as you cross the Bislicher-Insel nature reserve, you’ll notice just how beautiful the Lower Rhine is. Halfway there, you can already visit the NaturForum. <br>Great destinations for a full day out include the MoviePark (amusement park) in Bottrop or Irrland (highly recommended for children) in Kevelaer.<br><br>Miscellaneous:<br>This is a smoke-free home!<br><br>A garage and a driveway provide ample parking space for 3–4 vehicles. We kindly ask that you use only the parking space designated for the house. A charcoal grill is also provided. Bed linens and towels can be booked upon request for an additional fee.
