The host was absolutely fantastic. When we arrived at check-in, the housekeepers were still there. They left around 4:30. The problem is we had kids with us. There are some maintenance issues in the home that the owner/host is working on. The flooring on the main level is the biggest issue. It is rather disconcerting to step on a section of the floor and have it give way a bit. The furniture is old and looks like it came from a second-hand store. Very poor quality. The MB mattress bed was very uncomfortable. None of the bedrooms had a TV. That seems like a rather big miss. The hot tub worked great. The home is close to town but not an easy walk. 20 minutes to town, downhill. Walking back is more challenging -- especially if you live at or near sea level, as it's almost entirely uphill all the way back to the home. The home is near a hiking trail, which is very cool! Again, the hosts were phenomenal.
