About this property

Secluded treehouse-style retreat with deck, game room & wildlife views

It's time to escape to the mountains at this gorgeous vacation rental in Fairplay, Colorado, tucked into the aspens just west of town. Set among the trees, it feels like a peaceful treehouse hideaway, yet you're only minutes from restaurants, shops, and local breweries in Fairplay and just 25 miles from the ski slopes of Breckenridge in the heart of the Colorado Rockies.

Spend quiet mornings sipping coffee on the wraparound deck, watching for moose and deer wandering through the woods. Lace up your boots or strap on the provided snowshoes and explore the nearby hiking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing trails. Gold medal fly-fishing and ice fishing are close at hand, while Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, historic gold mines, and scenic parks make for easy day trips. Families will also love uncovering local gems, like the hidden Christ the Redeemer statue in the hills.
Inside, this family-friendly mountain cabin rental is bright and inviting, with vaulted ceilings, a wall of windows, and a cozy wood stove for cool Colorado nights. A full kitchen and spacious dining table make it easy to share meals after your adventures.

The lower-level game room is a guest favorite, featuring a pool table, air hockey, darts, and space for kids and teens to connect. After the games wind down, gather for board games, a movie from the DVD library, or music on the provided guitar. A two-car garage keeps vehicles warm in winter, while free WiFi and a washer/dryer provide everyday comfort.

At night, three comfortable bedrooms promise restful sleep, ensuring everyone is ready for tomorrow's mountain memories. Whether you're chasing powder in Breckenridge, soaking in hot springs, hiking among wildflowers, or simply unwinding on the deck, this secluded Fairplay retreat is the perfect Colorado cabin getaway - where families reconnect, outdoor enthusiasts thrive, and the magic of the Rockies is right at your fingertips.
