Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood for its rare combination of peaceful seclusion and immediate access to some of Southern Oregon’s most iconic outdoor destinations.
The Manor sits in a quiet, natural setting surrounded by pine forest, open skies, and the kind of calm you only get far from crowded city life. Mornings here are often still and crisp, with the sounds of birds moving through the trees—making it an especially rewarding area for bird watching. Depending on the season, you may spot hawks circling overhead, woodpeckers in the pines, waterfowl near the lakes, and a variety of migratory birds passing through the region. Evenings bring big sunsets and clear night skies filled with stars. It feels tucked away, yet not isolated from what you need.
What makes it especially appealing is how close everything is. Within minutes you can be at Rocky Point Resort, Harriman Springs Resort, or Lake of the Woods enjoying fishing, kayaking, bird watching along the shoreline, or simply relaxing by the water. Mt. McLoughlin offers a rewarding hike for those looking for a challenge, while Crater Lake National Park—less than an hour away—provides world-class scenery that never gets old. For something more adventurous, Crater Lake Zipline and the volcanic landscapes of the Lava Beds add variety and excitement to the area’s natural beauty.
We also appreciate the balance of convenience. While it feels remote, you’re still within reach of essentials. Nearby resorts offer dining options, the Hwy 140 store covers quick provisions, and Klamath Falls is just a short drive away for full shopping, services, and amenities.
Overall, what we enjoy most is the lifestyle: quiet living surrounded by nature, with endless opportunities for hiking, fishing, bird watching, and exploration just outside the door.
