Whether you're watching the sunrise from the balcony, relaxing on the beach, or enjoying a quite evening with family, Salty Mermaid Retreat was designed for a stress-free coastal getaway.

Pet policy & fees: We happily welcome up to 2 dogs of any size! Our non-refundable flat $150 pet fee covers up to 2 dogs for the duration of your stay (automatically applied when you add pets to your guest count). Note: Per state law pets are not allowed on the beach. There is an area in the rear yard and the side yard for their potty breaks. Please pick up all waste from the yard. Thank you!

Our pet house rules include: 1) Guest must bring their own pet beds and linens, as property linens and blankets may not be used for pets. 2) An additional deep-cleaning fee will be charged if pet hair or stains are found on the bedding or furniture. 3) Guest must bring all other necessary pet supplies such as: baggies for waste , dog bowls, leashes. 4) Dogs must be on a leash at all times when in outside common areas. 5) All dogs must be up-to-date on rabies vaccinations and flea/tick medication before arrival.

Each unit should accommodate two vehicles in front of occupied unit.

Absolutely loved the location and the fact that we could bring our pups. Easy to find. Unfortunately, for us, it rained almost the whole time. It was still a nice place to stay! Also, the AC is insanely cold! Perfect for after beach days lol

Best Spring Break, loved the location!! We chose this spot because all the reviews say it’s a private beach and you walk to Florabama…. Yall, it really is! Multiple days we were the only ones on the beach when other complexes were packed!! Every evening to walked to Florabama and back- don’t forget to bring your shoes or they won’t let you in! We will definitely return!

Our stay at this beach house was even better than we expected, it is the perfect location! One of the best surprises was how truly private the beach was—it felt like we had the entire shoreline to ourselves most of the time. Our dogs had the best time relaxing in the sand! The house itself was very clean and well cared for, and the beach chairs provided were a great touch that made it easy to relax and enjoy the view without having to bring extra gear. The location made it perfect for a quick getaway, quiet enough to unwind but still close to everything we wanted to do.Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would absolutely return again in the future. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful beach trip with a beautiful, private stretch of sand.

Beautiful place and the views are amazing. We saw dolphins everyday. The location is perfect. Communication was great. WiFi didn’t want to work but it’s vacation so that was probably a good thing. King size beds were super comfortable. Really a nice set up. A bit drafty and a blanket on the couch would have been nice. But overall it was worth it. I’d stay again!

Living room TV had limited functions. WiFi didn’t work upon arrival due to wiring issue. Washing machine and tubs in bathroom very outdated. Decking starting to rot in places. Last two days of stay included saws hammers and pressure washing during the day. Extension ladder on back porch on arrival. Great location and very nice updated kitchen. Host was great and easy to communicate with. View was spectacular

Condo was true to online pictures Loved quiet, uncrowded beach. I would stay at Perdido Dunes again.Our only negative was condo complex just feet from our wall was under construction so power tools, hammering and music began at 7am.
