Beatiful location, bad property management, worse communication by VRBO
The property is listed by VRBO but it is managed by another company. This means that every time you have a problem, VRBO will tell you to contact the property manager. The description of the property and the facilities are incomplete. This caused a great discomfort. We arrived at the property on a Sunday afternoon to find out that there were no bed linens nor bath towels. After contacting VRBO, we were told to contact the property manager. Once we were able to reach the property management company on the phone, they explained that they always mention in their ads that linens and towels need to be booked in advance (none of this is mentioned in the VRBO description of the property). The property management company couldn't find a solution for us, therefore we had to drive 30 minutes to find a store where we could buy ourselves linens and towels. When you are traveling with a family of 5 to a new place, this is not what you expect. Note about the property: beautiful location but the amenities are a bit run down. One of our kids sat on one of the wooden chairs on the terrace and it broke under him. He fell and bumped his head. Luckily he was ok but after I examined the chair, I found out that the wood was rotten and the chair was meant to break at any moment.
