Hi, I'm Rachel, your host at Ashford Chalet. As a Seattle native, outdoor enthusiast, traveler, and mom of two young children, I've always loved places that bring people together and create lasting memories. Some of my favorite moments are spent hiking, snowboarding, exploring new destinations, and enjoying time outdoors with family and friends. I created Ashford Chalet to be the kind of place where guests can slow down, reconnect, and experience the beauty of the Mount Rainier region in comfort.

The Mount Rainier area has always felt special to me. I love that Ashford offers the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. You're just minutes from Mount Rainier National Park, incredible waterfalls, scenic drives, wildlife viewing, lakes, and year-round outdoor activities, yet the cabin still feels peaceful and secluded. One of my favorite things about the area is how quickly you can disconnect from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with nature, family, and friends.
