Kamminke - Reetdachhaus - Ferienhaus Nord-licht

A cosy, detached, thatched-roof country house awaits you in the idyllic fishing village of Kamminke. Combining a rustic charm with a fenced-in garden that retains its natural character—yet featuring a modern interior—this former thatched-roof fisherman’s cottage offers the perfect setting for a wonderful holiday, complete with free Wi-Fi and a double parking space.

The 100-square-meter holiday home can accommodate up to 4 people plus one toddler up to 3 years old. We’ve set up a sun terrace with patio furniture and a large umbrella, as well as an additional, shaded retreat (the Rundling—my favourite spot!) for our guests.
You’ll love the 2 bedrooms (1 large double bed and 2 single beds), a living room with a smart TV, a good selection of CDs, and some books, as well as a fully equipped kitchen (induction stove!) and a large dining table. There’s also a desk with a printer available in the bedroom. From the kitchen-living room, you have direct access (mosquito net!) to the sun terrace with a grill area.
For cooler evenings, a tiled stove is available for use in the living room. There is no fireplace in the dining room. 
If you’re travelling with more than 4 adults, a separate room in the neighbouring building—adjoining the garden and equipped with a shower and toilet—is also available. However, there is no heating in this room.

The natural-light bathroom with a shower and changing table was renovated in 2025. For longer stays, you can also use a washing machine.
One pet is allowed, but must be booked in advance.
Enjoy the unspoiled charm of Usedom Island in Kamminke; of course, you can also quickly reach the imperial spas if you’re looking for a livelier atmosphere.

Nord-Licht Holiday Home:

This romantic thatched-roof holiday home features one bedroom with a double bed, as well as a second bedroom with two single beds and a sleeper sofa in the living room; it can therefore accommodate up to 4 adults and one toddler.
If you book for more than 4 adults, a separate “blue” apartment—without heating—is also available in a neighbouring building, featuring a bedroom and bathroom.

The kitchen offers plenty of space and opportunities to cook together and spend time as a group. On the sun terrace, you can play and relax together, right next to the natural garden. Entertainment is provided by a modern smart TV, a radio with a CD player, and a selection of books. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.
A friendly dog is welcome and can roam freely on the property.
A parking space (which can accommodate two cars parked one behind the other) is available to you free of charge and is located on the fenced-in property.

Notes:
Stairs: The staircase leading to the upper floor in the house is quite steep. Please exercise caution if you have difficulty walking, and also when small children are present.
Pets: Only “people” are allowed on the upper floor—unfortunately, your pet is not permitted! We frequently have guests who are allergic to pet dander, etc., and they absolutely need an appropriate bedroom. Of course, dogs and cats are not allowed on the sofa, armchairs, or other furniture on the ground floor either!
In 2025, there were changes to the furnishings and decor: In the living room, there’s a new coffee table and no longer a rocking chair; in the dining area, there’s no longer a tiled stove! The bathroom was completely renovated in the fall of 2024—now featuring a walk-in shower, without a Jacuzzi tub.
