    Wochenende in Frankfurt

    Wohnung liegt ausserhalb von Frankfurt. Wir gaben gleich um die Ecke eine Bushaltestelle gefunden und sind damit zur S-Bahn gefahren. Die Anschlüsse und die Verbindung nach Frankfurt waren top. Die Ferienwohnung geht für das Wochenende. Der Vermieter war gut zu kontaktieren und hilfsbereit. Nur auf Sauberkeit in der Wohnung müsste etwas mehr geachtet werden .

    Bad location and dirty flat

    1) The location of the flat that was formerly a Chinese Restaurant is in a dodgy Frankfurt area and in a very old building with pipes that make a lot of noise during the night. Old motorbikes in the front and backyard. 2) We found thick layers of dust (pics upon request) and razor blades under the carpet in the living room. We cleaned and moved the carpet outside because the quantity of dust provoked allergies. 3) We could not use the very small shower the water did not drain off. The shower needs a complete rebuild, not just fixing. After our stay, we tried to get money back from the owner but he was not flexible at all. We apologise for him having to throw the carpet away because it got wet outside, this was our fault. Also, he's right that we could have let him know about the shower. We did not do so because it was Christmas and he could have not rebuilt the shower nor did we want people working over Christmas in the flat we were staying in).
