The natural landscape offers ideal conditions for an adventure vacation at any time of year. To the north of the old town with its many old half-timbered houses is the spa park In der Helle, where you can play mini golf in summer and toboggan in winter. One of the highest and probably best-known mountains in the Sauerland rises in the Winterberg district: the Kahle Asten, where the Lenne has its source. The town center with its many restaurants can be reached on foot in around 20 minutes.
