There’s so many good things to say! Honestly we weren’t expecting a whole lot as we rented the smaller cabin that does not have a kitchen or cabin, turns out it was so worth it and was so much more than a place to sleep with AC! Turns out this smaller cabin was originally to provide additional sleeping for the house which is on the same lot and is why it doesn't have a living room and kitchen. My husband and I have camping equipment and so we brought kitchen stuff and cooked outside and that worked for us . The cabin does come with 2 chairs and a small table on the porch and a picnic table to the side and there is a hose and spigot to the rear. Not only were the hosts sooo hospitable giving you privacy and time to yourself if you want it or being happy to spend time with you and chat- the room was very comfortable, bed wasn’t too hard or too soft, pillows were the perfect loft, bathroom has been nicely renovated, they provide a snack basket and bathroom extras including comfortable bedding and towels. They also were easy going about our young dog, even had dog treats, extra water bowl and blanket for him! How sweet! They brought us a refreshing fruit plate for our time down at the water to stay hydrated, offered the use of kayaks, loaned us a UTV for use!!offered to shuttle us to the bridge and pick us up at the river after tubing, I mean Ray and Margie really went above and beyond and really made for a wonderful stay! I’ve stayed at other rentals and they pale in comparison!
