Adventure balanced with relaxation

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Yurt! The first day we took the drive-in directions... and that's when the adventure began! 3 miles up and down again the twist and turns of a mountain, with beautiful views! For the remainder of our stay we parked and took the lovely walk across the foot bridge. The yurt was so nicely maintained, clean inside, and private. The feeling inside is cozy, and homey. The morning and evening light shine in through the windows golden, and beautifully. The view of the river is so peaceful... I would recommend!

Gorgeous River Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Amazing place. The scenery is gorgeous and the property is really spectacular. Kris and Mike take such good care of the place and attend to small details that make it feel like a resort. Best ever.

Beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

What a great place, this whole property is amazing. You can swim in the river, hike, pick berries, or just relax and soak in the views. Super efficient space in the yurt and gazebo. Super private! And the hot tub was a bonus! Kitchen has condiments and basics which is lovely. We went with two young kids and it was perfect for them to be able to explore a bit on their own, totally safe and perfect for young families. My son wants to go back often. Lots to do nearby (within 1.5 hours - from Cresent City beach, Caves at Cave Junction, Trees of Mystery, Jedidiah Smith hikes could be a daily activity as they were for us it's so close). I would highly recommend not driving in all the way - just take the walking bridge.

Beautiful Surroundings!

  • 5 of 5

We recently had the opportunity to stay in the yurt at Middle Fork Ranch and absolutely loved it. We loved that we were somewhat secluded and right on the river. It was beautiful. The yurt has all the amenities you need for a very comfortable stay. My son had a blast with his new sling shot down by the river. We loved the bridge, the views and the easy convenience to the surrounding area. We visited the Oregon Caves, hiked in the redwoods, took the botanical trail to the insect eating Darlingtonia plants. We loved coming back and using the hot tub each night. Are family of 4 truly enjoyed our experience and the owners were terrific. I am looking forward to a return visit!

Cannot recommend enough. Beautiful, relaxing, private. I was sold after looking at the pictures, and it was even better than we expected.
