Quaint house in quiet Luray
Despite having 2 days of rain and overcast weather we had a lovely stay in Luray. I had a slight mix up on the payment (my fault) and the host was accommodating to enable us to stay. The cottage is well equipped, confortable and safe within easy walking distance of downtown Luray
Home away from home
Very comfortable and clean. Kitchen is stocked kitchen utilities, so you don’t have to eat out every night. Easy and close to get to the national park. Whole experience was great!
Perfect little house
Home was clean and had everything that is needed to make a stay enjoyable. Thank you.
Perfect Cottage in the heart of Luray!
My husband and I stayed at Lana’s lovely home for several nights. Our son and daughter joined us and we enjoyed all that Shenandoah National Park has to offer. It is obvious that Lana takes so much pride in her home. Everything was clean and bright and cozy. The house is right in town, so we could walk to restaurants. Very quiet in the evening, and we enjoyed sitting outside. Lana was available in case we needed her, but we had all the comforts of home! I would definitely recommend the cottage.
Nice stay in Luray!
The cottage was as everything our family needed for our stay in Luray. We have used VRBO for stays in Myrtle Beach, SC and N. Y. City. This was the best so far! Clean with lots of supplies provided. Walking was close to downtown and all restaurants. Movie theater also close and great to go back in time inside theater. Uncle Buck's should be on list for great food and service. Walking trail is close and many ducks to feed along trail. Cottage is short drive to caverns and shopping. Thanks Lana for a great stay. Richard & Cindy Norton, Eutawville,S.C.
Truly a home away from home, everything you need, convenientl located close to centre of Luray
The house is perfect for a small family, three separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and everything you need in the kitchen. The location is very convenient for exploring Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns and the beautiful area around Shenandoah River. Lana was very helpful and we felt very welcome, the description of a home away from home fits perfectly!
Luray is a little historical town between the Blue Ridge and Massanutten Mountain Ranges in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We are home to the famous Luray Caverns, Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and the George Washington National Forest, with spectacular mountain scenery and abundant wildlife. Canoe, Kayak, Rafting and Tubing on the Shenandoah River. Luray offers an impressive selection of recreational activities, major attractions and cultural history. Visitors are drawn to Historic Main St. where festivals, performing arts, paved walking trails, shops and eateries are accessible year round. A great place to get away from it all and enjoy our slower pace of life.
