"Küstenkind 08" Holiday Home – two double bedrooms, west-facing terrace, and private sauna

The "Küstenkind 08" holiday home combines modern living with peaceful days in nature. Built in 2021, this half of a holiday home is located in the holiday village of Klein Stresow on Rügen’s south coast and offers 61 m² of space for up to four people.

Two bedrooms, each with a double box-spring bed, and two separate bathrooms make the house a comfortable choice for two couples, adult friends, or a family. The private Finnish sauna, the fireplace, and the west-facing terrace provide perfect opportunities to relax in every season.

Bright rooms and Nordic design

The holiday home’s interior features a modern, Nordic style. Carefully selected furniture, lamps, and artwork create a harmonious atmosphere. Floor-to-ceiling windows let plenty of natural light into the living area and open up a view of the garden.

The house has a clean yet cosy design. The open floor plan on the ground floor combines the living, dining, and kitchen areas without compromising the function of each space.

Living area with a fireplace

In the living area, a sofa invites you to relax. Here, guests can relax together after an outing around the island or enjoy a quiet evening watching TV. A flat-screen TV is included.

The fireplace provides a cosy atmosphere, especially on cooler days. Free Wi-Fi is also available in the holiday home.

The dining table seats four. It serves as the focal point for shared meals, a leisurely breakfast, or a game night.

Open kitchen with high-quality appliances

The modern kitchen is open and integrated into the living and dining area. It features high-quality appliances and a full set of dishes. A dishwasher ensures that there’s no tedious cleanup after meals.

Thanks to the open layout, the kitchen remains part of the shared living space. This allows meals to be prepared while the other guests sit together at the dining table or in the living area.

West-Facing Terrace and Garden

The floor-to-ceiling windows open directly onto the west-facing terrace. There, you can start your day with breakfast in the fresh air. Thanks to its orientation, the terrace is also ideal for relaxing afternoons and evenings spent together outdoors.

Garden furniture is provided for guests. The private garden extends the living space outdoors and offers additional opportunities for relaxation and play. Children are welcome in the holiday home.

Two equally equipped bedrooms

The “Küstenkind 08” features two separate bedrooms. Both rooms are each equipped with a double box-spring bed measuring 1.80 × 2.00 metres.

This equal distribution of beds is particularly convenient when two couples or four adults are travelling together. Neither of the two bedrooms serves merely as a smaller adjoining room with single or bunk beds.

Both bedrooms also feature a closet and their own flat-screen TV. This means the rooms offer not only a place to sleep but also personal spaces to retreat to.

Two bathrooms for added comfort

The holiday home has two bathrooms. Both are equipped with a shower and a toilet. This allows guests to use the two separate bathrooms in the morning or after a day at the beach.

The ground-floor bathroom also features a private Finnish sauna. It belongs exclusively to the holiday home and is available to guests during their stay. It offers a soothing way to wind down, especially after a bike ride, a long walk, or a cool day by the water.

Towels are provided upon arrival. The beds are already made, so you can start your holiday without any extra effort.

Washing machine and Dryer in the Main House

The holiday home does not have its own washing machine or dryer. Both machines are available in the main house as coin-operated machines for shared use. This means you can wash and dry your laundry as needed during your stay.

Natural beach on the Greifswald Bodden

The Klein Stresow holiday village is located in a quiet, water-rich area near the Greifswald Bodden. The landscape is perfect for walks and bike rides, as well as kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding.

A natural beach is located about 600 metres away and is within walking distance. Beach bags and other gear can be transported in a handcart for the trip.

After spending time by the water, the “Küstenkind 08” offers several ways to relax: on the west-facing terrace, in the garden, in front of the fireplace, or in your own sauna.

Unpaved Access Road

The access road to the holiday village is unpaved and natural. Vehicles must travel at walking speed only.

A reserved parking space is included with the holiday home and can be used by guests free of charge.

Shared Electric Car Charging

A total of three charging stations for electric vehicles are available within the holiday village. The stations are shared by holiday guests and are not assigned to any specific house.

A fee for charging is charged on a sliding scale based on the length of stay. Guests must bring their own car charging cable.

Arrival by Train

If you’re arriving by train, a shuttle from the Putbus train station to the holiday village can be arranged for a small fee. This allows you to travel between the train station and “Küstenkind 08” even without your own car.

Café and Farm Store

The holiday village is home to Café Klein Stresow, which features a farm store. They offer hot and cold drinks, fresh rolls, light meals and snacks, homemade cakes, ice cream, speciality coffees, and regional products.

Fireworks-Free New Year’s Eve

The holiday village celebrates the New Year without fireworks. Guests spending New Year’s Eve on the premises can therefore look forward to a fireworks-free New Year’s celebration.
