About this property

Private, quiet oasis right in the middle of all the action of CB!

This is one of three vacation rentals on the property. One other unit is a one bedroom stand alone cottage that sleeps 6 and is on the opposite side of the pool. The other is a studio apartment on the far side of the property that sleeps 2 (it does not have direct access to the pool) They each can be rented separately or combined to sleep 6, 12 or 14 (the other unit is VRBO #472895 and the other is on the other main home rental site, under the name Dancing Oaks, The Studio).

Once you arrive you will walk through the courtyard past the beautiful pool to your unit. It is a single story building which means no stairs! Also no upstairs or downstairs neighbors.

The first bedroom has a queen bed and the 2nd has a queen and a set of bunk beds allowing this unit to sleep a total of six. It's perfect for families or a group of friends.

This is our home away from home and is set up for peace, comfort and enjoyment. There is a full kitchen that is stocked with all the supplies you need for wonderful meals or a quick bite. Including a full size fridge, range, microwave, and dishwasher.

The bathroom has recently been remodeled and has a tub shower combo. There is an additional shower outside with hot and cold water.

There is a stackable Washer/Dryer (new 2018)

The bungalow is surrounded by a variety of delightful outdoor space with plenty of sun or shade areas to relax. The side door has access to the courtyard which is fenced-in for pets. There are double sliding doors in the living area that open right up to the pool with palms and flowers. please note pets are not allowed off leash in common areas. This pool is only shared with the other two units in the complex (the other vacation rental and the caretakers).

It is just two and a half short blocks (about a 4 minute walk) from the beach and the board walk. The entire walk is on a sidewalk and there are stop lights and crosswalks at both intersections. So you are right in the middle of the action but as soon as you get back 'home' you will experience the peace and quiet of a private residence.

We had a great time staying in Carolina beach for a short weekend away! We were able to arrive early to park and head to the beach and really enjoyed having the pool and patio area to lounge later in the afternoon. The space was well kept and very quiet despite being so close to everything. We met our host upon arrival and she was very friendly and accommodating. Hoping to make a return for a longer stay in the future!

Best Family Beach Place Ever!

Been here a few times and it never disappoints! Each stay you notice the good upkeep and care giving to this place. There is enough space the whole family, comfortable furnishings, both inside and out, pool, grill, kitchen nicely stock, and even the laundry is convenient. Walkable to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Just can’t say enough great things and am looking forward to coming back.

Always a Pleasure on Pleasure Island

This bungalow and the other on the property are our favorite places to stay in Carolina Beach. We have stayed in them in 2019 and wouldnt dream of staying elsewhere. The owner is incredible, has the best communication and truly makes you feel like more than just a renter. She was so accommodating and understanding of our two pups who were away from home for the first time. I would recommend this property whenever asked and will certainly be back next year.

My name is Rebecca Triplett. I purchased this property and lived there with family for several years. Family obligations drew us back to our home state of Minnesota but we just could not part with this treasure. We made this unit into a weekly rental so we will have a place to stay when we visit and hopefully still pay the mortgage :-) It was a fixer upper to say the least when I bought it. We have made a ton of improvements and continue to make changes to make it a wonderful vacation for our guests.

Why they chose this property

We were looking for access to the beach and a pool but still wanted to have a quiet and private space. We did not like having to deal with the crowds, traffic noise and party atmosphere of the strip along the ocean but then we found this treasure! It is so close to the beach as well as all of the activities Carolina Beach has to offer. We are right next to all the stuff you'll want to experience. Once you get to the bungalow you could just leave your car and walk to everything you would like to do. You can literally sit on the front patio and watch the Thursday night fireworks and smell the donuts cooking at Brits! The pool is as large or larger than some of the pools at the hotels in the area but virtually private. You will feel like you are in an oasis. I love to cook and have had some bad experience with rental properties saying they had a well stocked kitchen but did not. Don't worry about that here. I have made sure I have all the tools I need to have fun with my cooking hobby.

What makes this property unique

I can not stress enough how nice it is to have such a quiet and private space. I love the action of the boardwalk and the beach but I like to get away from it too. Once you enter the courtyard, it's like a different world. This is a one story unit. There are no stairs to get in, or once you get in. Trust me, this is a great feature! No hauling all your things up and down all those stairs! There is exterior space for children to play with a gate to separate that space from the pool. We are a pet friendly unit. We love pets!!! But to us that does not just mean that we allow pets. The unit is designed with flooring that allows for good clean up between rentals. It is all tile or laminate flooring. This unit also has plenty of parking. Unlike many units that only allow one car, we have designated parking for one car per unit with ample street parking right next to the reserved spaces.
