We stayed at the villa for two weeks - 4 adults and 1 young child. The villa was great. The listing shows many of its features but in reality it is even better. The villa and grounds cover a large area allowing people to either be together or to find an area to relax by themselves. The many fruit trees and their fruit also added to the overall feeling of the villa as a place to relax.The villa was clean and all bed linen/towels were good quality and changed during the stay. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and pans to allow breakfast, lunch and dinner in the evening to be prepared and cooked. Key to the success of the villa was the provision of air conditioning in all the main rooms. This was really welcome in the 35 degree heat that we experienced. The pool was first rate with great views and mildly salted water.The hosts were exceptional, greeting us on arrival and then always being available at the end of a text to deal with any queries we had. We were introduced to a local baker who then delivered fresh bread to us every other day. Some small issues - a broken cork screw and blocked drain were dealt with quickly/effectively with no impact on our stay. Helena and Manuel also recommended a number of places to visit which were found to be really good.Access to the property is quite tight and while it is adequate it is challenging for larger vehicles. The villa is surrounded by a number of other properties which are used by locals as their homes.
