We greatly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and the property owner was so accommodating to our family - even offered to do our laundry!
Wonderful cottage. Only issue was the king bed was firmer than we were used to.
Cottages were very nice
Thank you for staying with us, we enjoyed and look forward to seeing you in the future. Great guest. Will be a pleasure to have them stay with us in the future.
Great little cozy place for just fishing or hiking around the lake
Hospitality was very helpful and friendly.
Simple little cabin.

Quaint older cottage
You can tell by the photos that this isn't a luxury cottage, but it has a nice screened in porch, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, small kitchen, and fairly good sized living room. TV works great, internet is s-l-o-w, but we weren't there to surf the net all day either. Couple of tips: use the password in the packet they give you at the market, ignore the one on the sheet laying on the coffee table, bring your own paper towels, Kleenex, and shampoo. There was a hair dryer in the bathroom. Plenty of bath towels too. Also, all the floors are tile, so, if you have a pet, bring a rug or something for them to lay on. We were plenty warm with the quilted bedspread (it was October), but if you go there in the winter, you may want to bring a blanket. I didn't find one in any of the drawers. But, baseboard heat worked great, especially in the bedroom with the king size bed. Very close to Silver Dollar City: right at the fork to SDC, left at the fork to your cottage. It's not sparkling clean, like I said, it's an older cottage, and the décor is kind of funky, but you can't beat the price for that area. Their market doesn't have a whole lot, but they do have cold beer and the hard stuff, in case you're interested. Only open on Friday and weekends, I think. Stroll down to the Lake and there's a great place to eat: The Floating Café, 8 am to 7 pm. 6 days a week.
Very basic and only minimally lived up to advertisement.
I wasn’t expecting a ton given reviews and price, but I do expect something to live up to minimum standards. The cabin could sleep 6 people if you wanted, but you better bring your own pillows. There were 6 in the cabin, but 4 were so small that they had to be doubled up. Also, you would expect that a cabin advertised to sleep six, would be able to seat that many for a meal. We didn’t have six, but the table only sits 3. There is a table on the porch that also sits 3, but no one wants to sit there when it is 40 and raining. There are 2 bathrooms and both are useable, once you get in them. However, the bedroom door, when open, blocks the bathroom door. We were forever getting stuck in the bathroom or hit with the door coming out of the bathroom. Finally, the advertised WiFi is the biggest joke. You can forget using it period. We only wanted to use it to plan our next day activities and buy tickets, but we couldn’t even get it to do that. If you are going to be doing anything at the house other than sleeping and showering (and I mean it literally) then you should keep looking. Plus side: mattresses were comfortable, they accepted pets, and it is very close to the water.
Awful stay - we won't do this again
Advertised free wi-fi is a joke. Requested refund; was told VRBU was in charge, not them. No accountability by property owner. No accountability by VRBU, or anyone. Awful review. We won't be back for any Internet hotel check-ins.
