Waimanalo Beach House is a lovely home, right on the beautiful six mile long white sand Waimanalo Beach. Swim right in front of the house, sandy bottom - no rocks and no coral. Waimanalo Beach is located on Hawaii's main island, Oahu, and is just 25 minutes from Honolulu International Airport and famous Waikiki Beach.
It sleeps 8 in the bedrooms and a ninth in the living room on a twin bed. It is right on the beautiful sandy beach and you can see the ocean from the living room, dining room and master bedroom. The beach is magnificent. There are no rocks and no coral. There are beautiful views of the pali cliffs and the sunrise.
There is a three bedroom, two bath main house with shower and jacuzzi tub and HDTV and also a separate cottage with a fourth bedroom with its own queen size bed, HDTV, and bathroom with shower. Magnificent views of several off shore islands and the morning sunrise offer an inspiring start to each day. This is your own piece of paradise, and whether it is a honeymoon, adventure, or family holiday, it has it all. Facilities include a modern kitchen, bamboo floors, koa floors, jacuzzi tub, HDTV's, outdoor hot/cold shower and built-in barbecue pits. The large private yard is adorned with hibiscus flowers, plumeria trees, mature paperbark trees, Madagascar olives and coconut trees! Enjoy the private beach access as you walk through a short, sand trail surrounded by beach Naupaka. Hawaiian style beach house located feet from Waimanalo Beach, the longest stretch of sandy shoreline on O`ahu. The white sand beach directly in front of the house is truly amazing and one of the most spectacular beaches on the Island. There are no rocks or coral reefs to interfere with your enjoyment while swimming. The waves break on the reef offshore. On a clear day, you can see Molokai. Some days you can even see as far as Haleakela on Maui. You can also see Rabbit Island and Black Rock, now sanctuaries for the big sea birds. The pali cliffs are magnificent and some days you can see hang gliders enjoying the Waimanalo breezes. The house has an outdoor hot and cold shower for an easy return to the house from the beach and an outdoor red brick deck.

Beautiful all the way around--beach can't be beat, & the house was perfect for our group.
Our second time at this WONDERFUL house
Thanks again (this is our second time) for letting us stay at your AWESOME beach house!! I was able to see the four major islands on the cruise and loved all the islands (Kona my favorite stop from the cruise) but there was not one beach that could even closely compare to Waimanalo beach. Your beach house and the Waimanalo beach right there is the best by far!
Beautiful and peaceful
A great home on a peaceful beach.
An ideal beach cottage!
Exactly as pictured, the perfect cottage get-away, literally steps from the beach. Easy, comfortable, well-stocked, directions complete, kids loved it and grandma loved the bungalow in the back. Outdoor shower a bonus.
Beach - stunning!
We are so happy that you had a great family get together at our beach house
and loved beautiful wonderful sandy Waimanalo Beach!
I Love this Magical Place!
I stayed at the Laumilo residence one week for a personal retreat.
The sweeping views of endless turquoise ocean from the upstairs bedroom & balcony are ridiculously awesome. I watched the sunrise in my nightgown most mornings with coffee in hand—Unbeatable. World class.
The family house and additional bedrooms downstairs are comfortable, spacious, breezy, and exude the je-ne-sais-qua of a home that has been lived in and loved.
I was happily surprised how clean the entire house was. Having stayed in other houses in this neighborhood it is not always the case.
Daily walks on the beach were my main activity. I also enjoyed excellent fresh, local seafood from the Ono Steak & Shrimp Shack a few blocks away next to the post office (I walked most these “blocks” down with my toes tickled by the surf along the beach) —Ono‘s also make Mslasadas (!!!!Yum!!)
5-10 min walk in the opposite direction took me to the Waimanalo Coop with fresh local produce, local artisan crafts such as jewelry, locally prepared medicinal hearbs, local honies, cold brew coffee, and simple breezy island style clothing among other treats and goodies.
Coop also hosts a weekly Farmers market Fridays 5pm-7pm with live Hawaiian music, fresh pizzas, poke salsas, grilled shrimp dishes...Yes!
7-11 and McDonalds are also available within easy walking distance w/out having to traverse the main road.
There are 2-3 churches in this neighborhood within easy walking distance, which I feel adds an element of grounded locality to the overall vibe.
I love this neighborhood!
Staying at this Laumilo property offered an idyllic blend of tranquil retreat with opportunity for low-key social & practical engagement all on foot (and occasionally on horse for some locals)
For more heavy end needs the very cute and trendy Kailua town is a 15min drive further up the Windward side.
In Kailua I found Wholefoods, Morning Brew Coffee, cool and classy gift shops, and Cinnamons’s (for brunch!—Guava Chiffon pancakes & Kalua Pork Eggs Benedict...Wow!)
20min drive along the spectacular coastal section of Kalanianaole Hwy in the opposite direction leads to Hawaii Kai, which is rich in more high-end restaurants like Roys and additional shopping needs.
Overall this is one of Hawaii’s Great treasures.
I recommend this retreat to any who yearn for an authentic encounter with the great magic that stands behind and sustains Hawaii Nei.
A Hui Hou!
Beautiful Beach-Location, Location, Location
The beach is amazing. Property was clean and suited our needs very well. We made memories to last our lifetime.
Boogie Boarding, Polo field and cute local shops near by.
