This historic remodeled home is located within walking distance to dozens of restaurants and bars as well as retail shopping. There are two bedrooms, one bathroom, a laundry room, and a full kitchen. The counters are granite with solid maple cabinets. The front yard is fenced with a cute custom fence that resembles a flowing river, with a table and chairs for taking in the essence of the town. The backyard has a six foot cedar fence that creates a lot of privacy for the landscaped yard. A large hot tub sits in the corner and there is a large paver area in the back and a small patch of grass. There is also a garden with fresh vegetables and beautiful flowers. The house was built in 1915 as part of the original town site.

About Mark Giovale
I was born and raised in flagstaff, I grew up in a house a mile from this location and attended Flagstaff High School. My wife and I lived in this home for 8 years and would still be in it if our family wasn't growing so fast.
Mark Giovale purchased this Bungalow in 2006
Why Mark Giovale chose Flagstaff
Location! This house may be smaller than others, but the draw for us is that it is so close to all the excitement and charm of downtown. We have been so lucky to have lived in this home for as long as we did.
What makes this Bungalow unique
What I enjoy most about the house is the ability to sit and look out the giant picture window in the front of the house and watch people walking by, to see the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood and to be able to relax in the glow of the sun. The backyard warms up early in the day and sometimes I would grab a cup of coffee and sit in the sun warming myself from both the inside and out. Within minutes we are able to walk downtown and stroll through heritage square, doing some window shopping along the way, and then grab a bite to eat or listen to some music at one of the bars. It's also so nice to not have to drive downtown, parking is always a hassle, and sometimes you can't park as close as our house to where your going, so for us it is great to just walk everywhere.

great property, everything we expected and more.
Nothing about our stay was disappointing. We were right in downtown and within walking distance of great entertainment and restaurants but far enough away from the nightlife to have a quiet peaceful night sleep. The House was clean and in great shape. The beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was great after long days. My kids enjoyed strawberries from the garden in the front courtyard. The backyard is large with a nice grill and sitting areas. My only complaint is that the property wasn’t available for the next time we were going to be back in town. I would absolutely recommend this property and we will definitely be returning in the future.
The house was exactly as advertised. The location was only blocks from downtown - easily walkable to shops and restaurants. The backyard was very spacious and perfect for our dog to explore and sunbath. Mark was easy to deal with and quick to respond to any questions.
A great house and a great host. Everything we needed for our weekend stay.
We loved this Birch Bungalow!! Would stay here again!
Lovely, sweet home in downtown Flagstaff. Clean, comfortable, with everything we needed. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, parks, and more.
Perfect home away from home in Flagstaff
We loved our too short of a stay in Flagstaff in this lovely bungalow. The home is very clean and uncluttered, which we really appreciate. Modern, yet retaining a lot of the original character of a 1915 bungalow. The distance to the action in downtown Flagstaff is a perfect walk which we enjoyed the 2 nights we visited. We will definitely stay longer and get to know Flagstaff better on our next visit. And we'll definitely chose this home for our stay!
Awesome house and location!
A few blocks from downtown Flagstaff. The owner Mark is really nice. Shower head was broken, he came over in 20 minutes and replaced it. Hot tub was really nice! House was so cozy, nice layout. Would return if ever returning to AZ.
This property is located across the street from Wheeler park which hosts events and celebrations nearly every weekend during the summer. The Arizona Snowbowl is a short drive up the mountain, and all the stores, restaurants and bars in downtown Flagstaff are within a few minute walk.
