This was definitely the nicest home we have stayed in since coming to Black Butte. The house is incredibly spacious and very clean. We also enjoyed how quiet it was. Will definitely book this house again!
Our family has been spending a week a year at Black Butte Ranch for the past twenty years so we know the ropes you might say. Of all the places we vacation over the years BBR is the family favorite. We chose this home for its close to a friends house at GM 343. Also because I knew the area is very quiet with little traffic. When we walked into the home we found it was beyond what we had expected. The house was clean, well equipped, and tastefully remodeled with high quality finishes. The deck outside was obviously built by craftsmen out of teak wood and is very spacious. All in all we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, we will surely be back.
Glaze Meadow 405 is beautiful and spacious. The deck is spectacular. The gas fire pit was great. It is further away and up in the hills from the main activities centers of the Ranch, but we biked and walked a lot so that was not an issue. Master Bedroom is on the main floor. Nice master bath with spa tub and large shower. The upstairs toilet ran for ten seconds every few hours. We had maintenance look at that, but it was not fixed. The king bed downstairs is very comfortable, but the bunks and queen size bed upstairs were not so comfortable. We moved the futon into one room, and found that to be more comfortable than the bed.
The kitchen was nice, but since we ate all meals in, we found it to not be stocked particularly well. We enjoy cooking and the knives were terrible. We had a problem with the bottom rack of the dishwasher ( wouldn't roll on the track) and had maintenance come in to look at it. It wasn't ever really fixed.
Our adult children and their spouses all liked the house except for the beds.
We may rent this house again, but would like to see the beds improved upon and next time I would know to bring my own knives, a juicer, and some desert bowls.
