We live in Loomis, bought the cabin from a family member who built it 50 years ago. Having stayed there for numerous family events over the years we are happy to keep it in the family and re-did it top to bottom.
Privacy, nestled into the National Forest, surrounded by trees.
Came here with my boyfriend for a nice weekend away. Owners were very thorough, making it very easy to get settled quickly. The cabin was incredibly clean and well stocked. We made a lovely dinner in the kitchen and panicked when we realized we forget a few key ingredients -- but the pantry was so stocked it had the missing ingredients! Lastly, you can't beat this location. Less than a 5 min drive to Tahoe city, took us less than 15 to get to Squaw and Homewood is right nextdoor. Will definitely be staying here again!
Great cabin instantly named the bear cave by the kiddos due to all the bear themed decor. It was cosy and well equipped; warmed up with the speed of light even though we arrived late on a chilly night.
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin.... Super quiet and well equipped.... All you need is there... Close from Tahoe City, lake and yet quiet...
Definitely stay in our list for our next visit!
The experience was lovely. Great place, secluded yet close to local attractions.
Nice for a couple to get away like us. Great for a small family close to everything you need great for biking during the summer nice front porch. Has most everything in the kitchen you need nice Loft with 3 beds and master with Queen updated bathroom and kitchen.
We just returned from our first vacation to Lake Tahoe and we chose to stay at Da Cabin. I have to say it was a perfect choice. The location on the West Shore was ideal. We were able to take a trip to Emerald Bay and also drove to South Tahoe and took a day trip a guided tour of Yosemite. This cabin was perfect for my husband and I and our teenage son. The cabin was well stocked with everything that we needed. We ate dinner in most nights and the kitchen and outdoor grill were perfect. The owner was very helpful and informative, giving very thorough instruction on how everything works and also gave great recommendations on places to see and dine. I would definitely rent it again.
