Perfect location for Tahoe summer baby moon

  • 5 of 5

We spent 3 nights in the cabin and as first-timers to Tahoe, were pleased to find we'd picked accommodations that were right between most of the places we wanted to see. There was definitely a lot of driving because we wanted to squeeze so much in (Truckee, Tahoe City, Kings Beach, Emerald Bay and even sunset on the east side of the lake), but the drive around the lake is very scenic so we didn't mind time in the car. There was more than enough room for the two of us, could easily see a family of 4 or even 5 enjoying the cabin comfortably. The TV and Wi-Fi worked great, and while we didn't utilize it, it was nice to know there was laundry on premises. The bathroom seemed to have been fairly recently redone, too, and was stocked with toiletries. We didn't cook but we used the kitchen to prepare breakfast and picnic lunches each day and found it well-equipped. Also, first time using a bear deterrent system :)

Woodsy, comfortable, great location -- wonderful stay!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is a charming A frame with a cozy downstairs and nice loft. Kitchen and bathrooms are updated, location is convenient for Tahoe City but definitely feels like it's out in the woods. Lots of bear themes around the cabin!

Perfect location and very clean!

  • 5 of 5

My son and I stayed at DaCabin for a regatta on Lake Tahoe and it was everything we could have asked for. There were plenty of towels, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable.

I enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking coffee in the morning.

It is proximate to excellent hiking and restaurants as well.

It is perfect for one family, as there is only one bathroom. Thanks for a great stay!

The cabin was adorable, tucked away in the woods. Clean and fully stocked. Great location!

We loved the location. Perfect for our summer activities of hiking, family picnic and walking around Tahoe City. Cabin was very clean. Instructions were clearly indicated in both email from owner and on paper at the cabin. Owner was responsive to questions. As warned, cell service spotty, but able to find connection out on the lovely deck. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Perfect for a lake and mountain getaway

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at "Da Cabin" for 4 nights after July 4. It was quiet, clean, charming, and well appointed, and the perfect size for our family of 4 (2 kids, ages 13 and 9). There's a sweet little beach just a 3 minute drive away, plus Commons Beach in Tahoe City about 10 minutes away. From the cabin, we could get to hiking and biking trails, from Tahoe City we biked to a little spot on the Truckee River. We had a great time and Michael was very responsive. We will recommend to friends.

Clean, convenient location, perfect outdoorsy setting!

  • 5 of 5

The location was great for going to the lake and to Squaw Valley for the WinterWonderGrass Fest. The cabin was just as described and provided everything we needed. Plenty of room for us and even better that I could bring my 4 legged friend along. The owner even accommodated and allowed for us to check in early the day we arrived. Would definitely recommended this place and will take into consideration coming back in the summer.
