Welcome to holiday home Källtorp 129, your peaceful holiday destination right at the crossroads between Sweden's picturesque nature and cultural highlights. Nestled in an idyllic secluded location on the main road 34, this historic building offers the perfect base for discovering the world of Astrid Lindgren, surrounded by a landscape that invites you to dream. As well as being close to major southern Swedish rivers, the sea and Öland's beautiful beaches, you benefit from excellent transport links to the shopping facilities in the surrounding towns and the proximity to the city of Kalmar.
The lovingly furnished interior of our two-storey holiday home with separate guest cottage leaves nothing to be desired. The inviting entrance area leads into a cosy living and dining room with an open fireplace, furnished with a comfortable sofa, a dining table for six people and a selection of puzzles and games. The fully-equipped kitchen combines traditional charm with modern convenience, including a Småland wood-burning stove, ceramic hob, modern oven and a large Miele fridge, while the bathroom boasts a modern shower cubicle, WC and extensive storage facilities. Upstairs there are two cosily furnished bedrooms for two people each, as well as an additional sleeping option in the nearby guest cottage.
The spacious outdoor area of our holiday home on a plot of around 2000m² with a private driveway has three parking spaces, a wide lawn for leisure activities, a swing barbecue with fire bowl and a wood shed with free firewood. 2 mountain bikes are available for free use to explore the surrounding nature.
Discover the breathtaking natural beauty of the region, from the Baltic Sea coast, which is directly accessible by bike via idyllic forest paths, to the picturesque lakes and rivers, which invite you to go canoeing and fishing. The nearby towns offer excellent shopping opportunities as well as cultural experiences, such as in Kalmar, and for sports enthusiasts there is a bike park and a variety of climbing areas in the surrounding area. The Glasriket, the realm of glassblowing, is also only a moderate distance away and offers fascinating insights into traditional Swedish arts and crafts.
